Thunder road
When watching the thunder road, I find it brilliant, heartbreaking, and funny in equal measures. When listening, I am in a waver between a smile and a sob which is triggered by the real beauty in the evocation of too human awkwardness. I am moved by the film while watching, which is facilitated by characters that are filled with long and longing. Thunder road approaches severe, profound, and dangerous themes using comic elegance. For the camerawork, the film was supposed to be in the police station, and really if you planned the camera just a couple of niche, it’s only a decrepit warehouse. We just put the sounds of a police station on afterward, but you would never know because of the angles we shot it. There is constant camera movement, which is a near distance to the characters and shoots at a 3D angle.
The major themes and ideas in Thunder road is a eulogy and involves the creation of a relationship between a father and a daughter when he is going through a divorce. The filmmaker Jim Cummings chose to produce Thunder room uniquely because after the original short of Thunder Road, then he felt that he could not allow it to turn into a feature. The filming technique by the filmmaker was effective in the conveyance of the film’s major themes, ideas, and emotions since it gets an opportunity for characters to portray their role, which helps the audience understand the real theme of the film. The film used the camera angle technique where the viewing position that was adopted by the cameras was concerning the subject. It also used aerial shot technique, which was taken from an airborne device of moving objects made easier through the use of drones.
