Employees’ Perception

The company is keen on upholding good employee’s relations. The research and development (R&D) structure at Toyota covers everything starting from the basic research to advanced engineering. Most employees hold a belief that the presence of the R&D in most of the branches all over the world creates good employee relations with their employers. The employees are fully protected during and after the working hours to avoid health hazardous scenarios (Bortolotti et al, 2015). However, being a struggling company to maintain its global reputation, the employees face series annual rotation in search of the innovative minds. This is not perceived well by those who perhaps have lost their jobs in one way or the other.

Organization Culture and Communication

The organizational culture defines the responses of the employees to challenges which the company faces in the global market. The organizational couture at Toyota is used to maximize the resources which support innovation. The company is careful in promoting and facilitating organizational learning through various seminars and conferences. The changes in the organization structure for the company are however mandatory once in a while. Again these happen because the company and its management are committed to promoting the leadership qualities in its employees. The organizational culture projects all the importance of supporting appropriate for a good global business reputation. Some of these processes are cumbersome and thus the company is still considered a struggling company (Liker & Franz, 2011). The characteristics of the company’s organizational structure follow teamwork, continuous improvement through learning, quality, and secrecy. The company also employs the principles of management when it comes to communication. This communication is majorly a top-bottom communication approach. It’s majorly done verbally in meetings or written like in the cases of company memos. Being a global company, it struggles to absorb international employees who will not be disadvantaged in terms of language briers. If all the above factors are well considered, Toyota Company can still recover it reputation for quality products despite counterfeits flocking the world market.
