Transgender Attacks and Killing in Florida

Hate Crime is a criminal offense that may be fabricated or accurately reported by the security personnel o the victim. In the year 2019, a victim of hate crime was explained by Ehrlich (2018). An Asia who was attacked for her was being transgender during sitting down for a particular interview in Miami. The place of the crime was at the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park in Florida, Miami, on November 20, 2019, on Wednesday. Transgender is natural appearance of a human being due to deformity at birth, but in some areas, the hate accounts for the innocent people for them being multi-sexuality. Additionally, a transgender woman was shot in South Dade as another burned down in the Clewiston, and a third transgender person was non-conforming beaten in the streets of Jacksonville before the hates dragged her naked out of the car.

According to criminal justice, all these hate crimes include violence that took place a few months ago in Florida, and none of the victims has been identified by law enforcement as affected by hate crime. Despite the many facing the appeals in different courts, still, the problem of the victims face negligence as terms of the law are low to handle the factors facing the criminals. Last, in the street of Jacksonville, the transgender women massacre was leading the nation, and other attackers were also experienced. One of the killings was reported against the LGBTQ community as hate crimes (Ehrlich, 2018). These aspects have led to the trans-woman of Jacksonville and the director of the transgender awareness project to safeguard the ongoing carnage.  Therefore, these serial attacks and violence of hate crimes are making women feel unsafe because the matter may victimize even innocent people.

Genuinely of the Hate Crimes

According to the national hate crime stat I s, the FBI shows that this month in Florida is leading with hate crime reporting behind many other American States. As the reports explain, sexual orientation is leading the hate crime after racial, ancestry, and ethnicity violence in different populations. However, the police report indicates that gender as the leading hate crime in most of the states and is passed the sexual orientation and religion. As one of the most motivation behind hate sin, the law enforcement organs are lacking the mitigation approaches to handle these challenges (Maltz  & Targonski, 2002). The Asian victim in Florida across the country said the hate crime is creating an unsafe environment, and the bias to the crime is developing with gender and gender identity. Analysis of the hate speech in Florida is the most growing crime with failures of injustice, according to the victim.

According to 2013 and 2017, more than 55,000 hate crimes of victimizing the gender occurred without the law enforcement response. Above 90% of Florida, law agencies said to have no district hate crime occurred. Yet, everyday victims of hate crime face a problem of not getting appropriate responses from the justice organs. In the District of Columbia, has 20 million less than Florida and had reported 213 hate crimes compared to Florida, which was 141 official hate crimes. The Florida state has 30% of the crime of hate speech published by the victims, yet they claim they are less or none to some districts (Maltz  & Targonski, 2002). However, the state of Florida has less population that New Jersey that reported 516 in the same year regardless of its people. According to most of the hate crimes in Florida, no less case is fabricated, and the victimization is high due to the assumption of faking the incidents.

Asian transgender was victimized in Florida a Varela, (2019), explain the matter and without any respond of the justice from the law enforcement bodies. The unlikelihood of the Florida district agencies lacks hate crime by 90%. Different research shows that the response to the justice bodies of transgender violence cases faces criminal labels hence undermining the justice of the particular crime. Moreover, the victim, although submitted the report to the responsible authorities, the bodies lost track of the hate crime. The civil rights recently in the commissions of the U.S justice shows how this massive matter is underreporting, and the offense is still criticized as lack of the proper knowledge of agencies in local o grassroots levels. Consequently, half of the hate crimes in Florida states have not been reported, as explained by Maltz  & Targonski (2002). A comprehensive data shows that the accuracy of the leading efforts can fight this issue and mitigate it in the courts of law to secure the local communities against hate crimes.

Ignorance and Insensitive Against Transgender

Most of the transgender women are not able to manage everyday life in Florida in dealing with harassment and violence. This emerges to them and terms themselves as the bona fide hate crime that uncertainly can occur to them. Many of these crimes are never put into light, and an investigation is set to understand causal. The transgender woman at 23 who is an Asian victim was bulled by co-workers at Fort Lauderdale restaurant as also was termed as the workplace violence. The co-workers’ ladies insulted her gender complexity day-to-day intentionally. The other women abused her loudly and in public places, even if they were not co-workers. After a big fight, the woman called the police, and no action was taken than managing the continuity of her job due by false accuse and was fired one week later (Gerstenfeld, 2017). Therefore, the case was offered without any track of the cause of the violence, and because involved transgender woman, the case was offered. Negligence or ignorance of the transgender against hate crime has been insensitive in terms of the caring of the victims.

Another transgender issue occurred to Stacey Buchanan, 32 years old had three incidents of protecting herself using a gun. On the southern beach in Florida, she had an event while she was walking with her friend of transgender hate crime. A violent man was starting hitting her, and publically another man told him that they were men, not ladies. The men had planned to slaughter Buchanan because she was transgender. She was victimized at Florida at her state, and the case was not seriously handled by the responsible law enforcement bodies. Thoughts of the victims towards the attackers were that she had no solution for that (Maltz  & Targonski, 2002). She never told the police because from the agency’s culture; she did not trust that can help her. Therefore, society has lost stands with the agencies on assisting them in achieving justice as victims.

Widespread Under-Reporting

Broward reported none of the hate crimes in 2017, but in 2018, three racial hate crimes were reported. On the other hand, the Miami state evaluated and finds 2017-2017 reported no hate crime. Most of the investigation in Miami shows that most of the transgender reports motivate the police, and there is an unlikely hood to fail to help you. The departments of the reporting the problems should improve the system to the community are working well, and all transgender issues are under policing and well partnered. Law enforcement practitioners rely on official sensitivity training on how to engage the victims of transgender hate crime. They should encourage the victim instead of getting the motivation to the crime (Gerstenfeld, 2017). Different Departments have different attitudes of handling the hate crime, will all the crimes the same treatment, and the police departments will help crime context and eliminate the hate approach of the crime. The departments of the specific crime should set standards of gathering evidence and trigger the person’s victimization and handle the case appropriately. Therefore, the hate crime is a criminal offense that cannot be controlled body the justice organs alone but also requires the departments and the crucial organs to involve police investigation training.
