Introduction:
The 21st century has changed a lot of things, and it involves different transportation services as well. The people were not even sure about air transportation at the beginning and many of the views that it will be ended with time. Science has proved that inventions are made by high care and technology, they are not meant to be completed, but they are made to be advanced in the future. The scientists have proved it, and they further modernized the concept of air transportation. Air transportation is still a dream for a lot of people in the world, but they have to dream about something else as well. The concept of airbus transportation has been introduced, and it is in the debates of experts and analysts on how it will work and how it will give comfort to the people. The people are getting crazy about this new invention, and their perceptions are different regarding this new project. The whole world has given a massive round of applause to the Americans who have shown severe concern towards this project and got success in it. It is one of the modernized concepts introduced by Americans, and the United States National Air Space System is advocating it. It is still an ongoing project, and modifications have to be made in it.

The work started in 2005, and the complete improvements are expected to be completed by 2025. The Americans had decided to run the service for the military people only, but now it has been declared for ordinary people as well. The Next-generation became the ultimate need of the state then, and in 2000, the idea was presented to make something like this. The meetings regarding this project continued, and in 2003, another important meeting was called. It was declared that the next project would be called as next-generation air transportation system. The system was launched in 2005 by one of the departments of the United States, and later on, the idea was followed by many other departments (Science, 2015).
The changes were observed, and certain modifications were asked to be made. It has not completed yet, and experts know they need to introduce and replace a lot of technologies in the project, however, as it is expected to get completed by 2025. It is one of the most modernized projects by the United States in history ever. It was decided before having some modifications in aging technologies. Still, the FAA and partners decided to implement some of the new technologies to start the project of Next Generation Air transportation that will serve 2.7 million people and 44000 flights per day. It is much more than the expectations of people, and no one was sure about the success of the project. The Next Generation is not only a single goal, product, or service. Still, it is a combination of a lot of services implemented together to get the modernized effort of air transportation (FAA, 2014).
As the topic of our interest is the people’s perception towards the next generation Air transportation and unmanned aircraft system. Hence, as people belonging to different backgrounds and different mental states, they have different approaches towards it. Some of them liked the idea and appreciated it to the maximum extent, and others do not like it, and they said they do not believe in an unmanned aircraft system. They always have trust in manned air traveling, and it is far better than this new approach.
As the Next Gen is a project of different combined forces, so it is recommended that the FAA and congress should review it and should modify or reset the expectations from the Next-generation. It is because everything that is expected or desired cannot be fulfilled at once. The organizers want to see all the expectations to be filled, but according to people, they need to rethink, and they need to know that it is an ambiguous project, so they should be realistic instead of dreaming of perfection. It is one of the perceptions of people regarding the next generation (Next, 2015).
The next perception is about the leadership of the next generation, the FAA should rethink that it is one of the most significant entrepreneurial projects, and its architecture needs to be reliable, elegant and near to perfection. So, it is necessary to modify the leadership of the project. The leaders should be from different fields, and various departments as several fields are working, and they do not know much about each other’s areas. It is recommended to realign the leadership skills and to combine the workforce to give better results. Leadership plays an essential role in the success of a project.
As the whole work is related to operations and management, the FAA has to use the top best software and hardware along with a large workforce. The hardware and software have become advanced because the internet technology is now at the top of the sky and has left every field behind. So, it is recommended to use the best software, and for the purpose, the FAA needs to hire the best programmers, and it will, of course, increase the work force of the project. the world always admires such project where there is ultimate need of work force and manual labor. The people perceptions are different and these need to be changed with the passage of time. As some of think that if it is one of the biggest project, why the ordinary person is not included in the work force and other think that if it is the largest project and the most modernized till now, why all the people including the under developed countries are unable to use it. It is not possible to change the conceptions of people because they will keep on saying whatever they want to say according to their mental level (Sheridan, 2006).
The next perception is quite important and it is about the management of risk, the United States has not yet opened the services for the people. it refers that the people are not using it commonly till now and there are many years for its common application but people have different reservations regarding it because it is even faster and unmanned project. the people need to have guarantee that the project is most efficient and safer one. The organizers have used the best people with best technology to make the different parts of this project. still, the company is recommended to take care of risk management. The risk management is a department where maximum work needs to be done. Every organization or the company works on the risk management at first because risks and emergencies cannot be called or controlled. It is recommended to architecture and systematic leadership. It means to use all the sources and all the brains to get the best results and the whole system should be in smooth running and it is only possible by an effective leadership that will reduce the chances of risks and the different departments will have unique perceptions regarding risk management.
Some of the people think that it is the most advanced and modernized project so there are always the chances of misuse of misplacement of data. There are different forces involved and each one has its own experience but still there are the chances that some external forces may steal the data and may use it any way.
