In this inspirational life account of Morrie, he falls in love with Morrie’s humor and his personality which is a fun. Despite of Morrie being an old man, he likes dancing and appreciates totally the small this which will always be taken for granted by many people.  After being diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis, he makes it a mission to make the most out of his remaining days to lie. “I don’t allow myself any more self-pity than that. A little each morning, a few tears, and that’s all . . . . It’s horrible to watch my body slowly wilt away to nothing. But it’s also wonderful because of all the time I get to say goodbye.” “support statement 1”
