            Teamwork is an integral element for every organization as it fosters an environment that fosters friendship and loyalty, and this establishes trust between the managers and other members of the team. Numerous types of units can get created in project execution, for instance, problem-solving teams, self-managed teams, virtual and cross-functional teams. Problem-solving teams refer to a group of individuals assembled to execute a particular project that involves resolving one or more issues that have already arisen or to efficiently deal with the problems as they occur. The team brings the managers together to solve real-time project problems. The second type of team is self-managed work teams. According to Magpili & Pazos (2018), the kind of team involves a self-organized group of workers where the members determine, manage, and plan their daily duties under reduced or no supervision.

The third form of teams is cross-functional teams. The group consists of members from different functional departments or areas of the company. For instance, it may include members of the marketing, product, customer service, or sales department (Pimenta et al., 2016). The type of team has a role in establishing and implementing processes to achieve the goals of an organization. The team also has a responsibility to ensure that a new policy meets the needs of all the departments of the company (Dulebohn & Hoch, 2017). Virtual teams are another essential type of group. The organization represents individuals dispersed or who work together ut from different geographical locations and rely on communication technologies like email, Fax, and video or voice conferencing to communicate. The group often strives to achieve shared goals and objectives y making collaborative efforts to accomplish the goals.

In my experience in our business firm, I have witnessed our managers and primary leaders strive to establish team players. In this essence, leaders often attempt to develop a supportive environment. The managers have established a notion that individuals flourish if they feel supported in their personal and professional endeavors, and this can get achieved by creating a supportive environment. Also, team players can get created by offering opportunities to collaborate while also leading with example. Moreover, it is essential to create space for fun and give praise deservedly as a motivation for the members of the team.
