Undergraduate

The final moments of my undergraduate course were last week. The endpoint of the entire experience is so close, and I can see it. This is the time to reflect on what has been crucial and helpful in the last four years. It is apparent that I will reflect on what I learned from the university, what I would take away from the course, and probably how the program has impacted my career.

It is now clear with no doubts that I am knowledgeable in English and literature than I did when I began the course. At the moment, I am confident with the knowledge and skills gained from the entire session. When I started thinking about writing this post, I could not forget about considering some of the insights about my peers and in the learning institution. Therefore, as my capstone for the last four years of study research and evaluations, here are some of the things I have learned about myself.

Firstly, enthusiastic learners often find passion through their entire study period. When I began the course, I thought I was aware of my interests. It turns out, that was not the case. I would have never predicted almost a year ago that I would be achieving an English certificate or even became passionate about matters related to the field. A pre-set schedule of the interests and classes a learner thinks he or she wants to develop and achieve never works out. It is paramount to let yourself think and figure it out as the course progresses.

Secondly, engaging in something you think you do best turns out not to work. This might seem or even sound counterintuitive. However, it has let me learn several crucial things during my undergraduate course. As a determined overachiever, I had difficulties in avoiding being a leader and in the center stage of matters related to cooperation. I also caught myself in difficulties in ensuring every group assignment was perfect. During my undergraduate period, I learned that it is all about balancing several engagements and tasks. When a learner tries to mix up several assignments with extracurricular activities, there are chances that he or she will fall into some imperfections.

I also realized that achieving the best work turns out to be the hardest of all. As I had said earlier, doing your best is all you can, a leaner can be associated with even if their progress is not turning out as expected. The appendage to that is that when learners work hardest. This helps them not only to achieve the best results but also to get the fulfillment of their efforts. The last semester, I took a course on advanced literature. Although the end-of-semester term paper was lengthy and involving, I invested much of my time and effort into trying to figure out the basic issues and aspects of coming up with a good project.

I also learned that group work and cooperation could be fun. My earlier moments in the univehttps://studygroom.com/sean-tissue/rsity made me dislike group work. To me, it was annoying and forced me to take all responsibilities regarding. The truth about undergraduate and real-life out here is that nobody can do much on their own. Even though group work can turn out to be bothersome, learning how to cooperate with others is an aspect that I appreciate during the entire period in the institution. I have essentially learned how to enjoy most of it. Breaks are also very essential for an undergraduate learner. I am one person who enjoys music, cooking, and a bit of exercise when I am sick matters associated with schoolwork. It helps me feel relaxed and gives me the time to break from the boredom of staring at books and computers.

During an entire undergraduate course, a learner must be prepared for a few surprises. It is often easy for teenagers to have preconceived thoughts and ideas about a gentleman or a lady in a class or even thing that an instructor is tough on them. It is also easy to conclude that certain instructors are not fair graders. It is much difficult to take adequate time and get to know everyone and think in different ways they add value to your experience and life during the entire period. It is difficult to embrace this, but it is worth it.

Another critical aspect learned during the undergraduate period is to make every single experience count. As one of the youngest learners in the course, I had an exclusive perspective during the entire process. Several of my colleagues had already been married and had considerable work experience. I even began to feel insecure regarding the lack of such experiences. Throughout the entire period, I realized that life experiences could also be learned through the education process. I also learned that life is just a matter of perspective and the ability to apply experiences in the learning environment. Having the ability to apply what is learned in class makes it easier and necessary to understand what life is from a broader perspective.

It was also notable that it is important to go out of your comfort zone. In the last semester, I took a course that made me feel that I was so out of my coziness. The initial moments of the course almost made me consider dropping out. However, I stuck to the course because it turned out to be worth it. This module dared me to think about English in a new perspective. By engaging in something that did not look easy made me learn more. I was also able to make critical decisions around English and literature that I had not considered before.

Lastly, I realize that crap happens, and it’s someone’s sole responsibility of a learner to make the best out of it. I have always had the desire to write about this point because it has played a great role in my undergraduate experience. It is right to bounce back after tough moments. However, when negative things keep on happening, critical to make instant, and involving remedies. It is also critical to acknowledge that irrespective of how regularly crap occurs, you have to keep on fighting. You should never let a single or few situations affect an important course. It might take that moment to become and human and feel broken, but it’s important to pick yourself up, think positive, and do the best to make desirable moves.

As I focus on my next destination, it would be important to keep these lessons in my mind. People learn diverse things about themselves on academic experiences, and
