UP government has decided to offer financial help to daily wage laborers and construction workers due to the pandemic spread of coronavirus
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanatha, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has promised to offer rupees 1000 to 15 lakh daily wage laborers. It includes 20.37 lakh construction workers so that they met their daily wages with the financial help from the government. CM of the state has announced in a news conference on 21st March for helping the panic-stricken people of the state due to the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus. So, CM of the state has requested the people of the state not to panic due to the rising situation. He further added that there is adequate stock of medicines and essential goods in the state. Therefore, people should not rush to the shops to buy the necessary commodities.
CM also requested the citizens of the state to follow the ‘Janta Curew’ that has been called by Narendra Modi. In this regard, he has asked the state and city bus service along with the metro rail service to close the service on Sunday to make the curfew a successful one. As of now, 23 people have been suspected to be positive with the virus in Uttar Pradesh. Only 9 out of 23 have recovered until now. He further added that there is an adequate number of isolation wards in the state to help the citizens.
Considering the overall condition of our state, there are a total of 270 infected people out of which four have died. It is further said that old aged people and the one with an illness such as heart problems and the like are prone to get infected by the virus.
However, the death rate in India has ranged from less than 1% to 4% as of now. The global rate of death has crossed 10,000. Although no approved vaccine or anti-viral treatment has yet been introduced for the prevention of this pandemic, covid-19, except for supportive care. So, all these announcements have been done as coronavirus disease continues to spread in India and other countries as well.
So, with plenty of resources available in India, it is trying its best to make the citizens understand the results of the pandemic. Also, it is asking the citizens to stay safe and stay at home as much as possible that shall help prevent the massive spread of the pandemic covid-19.
