The Canadian voting system can is said to be the heart of what is an example of a representative democracy. Free and fair elections acts as a tool that a citizen can use in creating a democratic administration. Through the democratic voting system each citizen finds that their vote has equal value to any other and the elected members are reflections of the political will of the voters.

It is an expression of unity among the voters at all levels of government, currently Canada has a voting system where those in power are elected by the citizens, it can therefore be a big challenge to free and fair elections .Political belief is among challenges affecting the ones democracy as they can be affected by their political stand when choosing their leaders. Moreover it can argue that an individual can be influence by the places they live to vote and elect leaders at the expense of the voters. Although the voters have the right to choose their leaders, they can be easily influenced by their friends to vote for their favorite leaders. This could however fail to give the Canadian the representation in the government that they deserved.

Having democracy in voting system will ensure that we have higher probability of voters to cast effective vote representing all citiens.it is aimed to ensure Canada is led by parliament that was elected and give the voter registration. Among the other problems associated with this voting system it is true that there is exaggeration on the regional differences, since some part of Canada could be supporting more than two parties or political leaders. Those opposing the free and fair election system tend to claim that if Canadians demand too much of democracy, they can be unable to form a very effective government.

The following are some of the challenges to democratic voting system in our state. More politicians with different political aspiration could join the political race. According to history the other systems that have been used in Canada like proportional voting needed few politicians. The democracy will allow people in same region to vote for different aspirants thus everyone deserves electing someone. There will be many parties formed in the event we have democratic voting system. This means that There is likelihood of  proliferation of small political parties ,this can also impose some changes like old parties getting restructured since every citizen is free to vote .In this system of voting the parties will have to reflect on how citizens  belief in  their parties. Additionally since the citizens will be supporting the parties having potential to grow. It is important to understand that the Fair election could cause constant election, instability and endless minority government in Canada.

It is important to note that this system of voting fails in promoting a majority government that is legitimate. Moreover it is important to note that free and fair election could never make the leaders accountable to the voters .Since not all elected leaders are caring to give back to their communities. According to research it is clear that democratic voting system could result to creating parliaments which tend to reflect the diversity of the Canada.

Another challenge that is linked to free and fair voting system there is failing system when giving Canadians most probably the young chance to participate I voting. Consequently Canadian democracy voting system is challenged by the fear of having many parties formed and wining seats and this may result to affecting the legislation.Canada has had over 20 elections from the Second World War. Canadians fear that this voting system will create more cases of elections and this could affect the countries economy making it unstable. Constant coalition governments may be formed, due to free and fair elections. Due to democracy there could be negotiations among parties making some deals and agreements. This wills however it can kill some politicians and political parties potential to grow. Free and fair lection makes every citizen aspire to see the leaders they elect winning in the various seats. There is a fear that free and fair election would cause chaos since the voters need to see who they have elected in seat

Generally there is need for Canada to use free and fair voting system as this will advocate for some benefits to the citizens. There will be representation of all geographic regions both in opposition and government representation. In any democratic administration there is visible minorities and women .Through this voting system the majority government gets represented by genuine majority. Lastly every voter is having a responsibility to vote irrespective of their political stand or residential area. The government and the relevant authorities should therefore develop strategies aimed at making the Canadians aware of this as the best voting system.
