What is the environment of pre-school attempting to teach children?
Watching a lesson video, which was a lecture lesson in one of the schools, gives a clear message of what the environment wants to communicate with the children. This lecture focuses on education globalization and focuses study on some research done around globalization know as pre-schools in three cultures. After the Colonization learning practice and polices were adopted from our superiors. Globalization is referred to as factors influencing education policies and practices. Education policies and practices all over the world are found to exist in a superstructure that works above the level of national and local schooling.
The lecture teaches on the components of education globalization which include the adoption of corresponding education practices, everyone sharing research and ideas about education, the existence of organizations such as UNESCO and World back which are governmental and non-governmental, etc. lecture talks about comparative education which is a comparison of similarities of education practices in nations. The study reveals that countries have similar education systems and methods.
Theories of education globalization are also explained in this lecture, which includes; world Education culture theory, world-system & post-colonial theory, and borrowing & learning theory. The lesson does not appear to be unique as it educates on similarities found among the nation after the Preschool in three cultures education research done. It seems to go hand in hand with day to day learning policies and practices introduced by the colonizers. This lesson seems to be a lesson taught to children worldwide in different societies.
