What is the most interesting, important, or meaningful lesson of your research (for you or your imagined reader)?
The most interesting, important, and meaningful lesson from this research is that, contrary to popular belief, marijuana has a positive side to it, and there are valid reasons as to why it should be legalized. I think legalizing marijuana would be logical in this era, where tobacco and alcohol products are readily available to millions of people every day (although restricted by age). For many years, the narrative has dwelled on the negative side of marijuana. I believe this research serves as an eye-opener as it will enlighten the public and relevant authorities about the possible benefits that can be accrued from the legalization of marijuana. Of course, there are numerous debates on both sides of this issue. Nonetheless, I think that my research serves as an excellent guide as it highlights both sides of the issue and, in the end, gives an informed conclusion. Therefore, my readers can use this research at the end of which many of them will agree with me that there is no harm in legalizing marijuana, as long as the sector is properly regulated.
In what ways do you think your research project was successful? Is there anything you wish you did differently?
I think my research project was successful since I managed to obtain findings that readers can use to bring an end to the hot debate surrounding the legalization of marijuana. I believe that my research project is a successful one because I eliminated bias by thoroughly investigating both sides of the debate before reaching the conclusion that the benefits of legalizing marijuana outweigh the demerits. As of now, there is nothing concerning this project that I wish I did differently because I was able to attain the research objectives. I, however, hope to conduct research in the future to investigate the success (or lack of it) of marijuana legalization in the various states.
