What Unique Qualities will you Bring to a Leadership Tomorrow Class? How will LT help you in your growth and development?

Persistence is typically the key to attaining goals, and in my case, I have struggled in participating in various organizations to gain skills that may assist me in mentoring people. Leadership tomorrow (LT) as an organization that inspires, connects, and engages in a useful community of leadership, it will be suitable for me to participate in performing one of the organization roles. Joining Leadership Tomorrow will be helpful considering that I earlier participated in the world reader that included providing e-readers to children in developing nations that enabled me to assist the learners in improving their potential earning in learning. Additionally, I participated in the Seattle chapter that involved advising members who had joined lean-on groups gaining skills in equity by identifying obstacles faced by specific groups. In this regard, I have achieved various qualities, including being accountable, communication skills, decision-making skills, and problem-solving skills, thus being more manageable for me to participate in the LT class. My passion for diversity, equity, inclusivity, and supporting women in the organization will boost the performance of the organization on investing in a child’s early development, advancing communication and education on community members.

The LT class will assist my growth and development in gaining skills that are useful in improving the gender equity and empowering of women, thus adding advantage to participation in YWCA Seattle that ensures creating equal opportunities and social justice to both genders. Additionally, I will increase my interaction skills useful in interacting with the Angeline’s Day Center for Women, where I am a volunteer in serving lunch and performing kitchen chores in the organization..
