Which terms I have never heard off

A glossary of terms on gender is a term that encompasses all the words used to describe gender and sexuality. The description of gender is susceptible that it needs some clear cut meaning that cannot offend individuals (Braquet, 2019). The following are terms that I found new to me. Biphobia which a range of descriptions for an individual who has a negative attitude such as anger, intolerance, erasure, fear, invisibility, and resent less.

These discomforts are expressed towards a bisexual individual. Biphobia may emanate from the LGBTQ community from a given society. Biphobia is, therefore, a word used to describe an individual demonstrating a range of negative behaviors towards people of bisexual orientation (Braquet, 2019).

Closeted are individuals who do not open about their sexual orientation to others. It may be a choice or from other reasons based on safety, family rejection, peer, loss of housing, disapproval, or job. However, when one decides to speak about their gender or sexuality, they come out of the closeted.

Genderqueer is a gender identity that used to describe individuals who do not like to categorize the binary of man or woman. Genderqueer is an umbrella term used to describe a group of people who do not conform to gender identity (Braquet, 2019).

The following are some of the terms I would like to learn extensively

Stealth is a term used to designate gender-expansive persons who do not like their gender status to be disclosed to the public. Their aspect of private or public life is always intact. However, the term stealth is considered offensive since it is based on deception. It is, therefore, vital to provide a phrase that is more private interchangeably.

Gender Dysphoria is distress caused in the event that a person assigned sex during birth and takes over the gender is not the same person having the identity. The American Psychiatric Association of the Diagnostic and Static Mental Disorder describes the term as an experience on children, adults, and adolescents (Blackburn and Thomas, 2020).

Skoliosexual is an adjective that is used to describe an individual who is primarily sexually, emotionally, or sexually attracted to orientation. It can also be a transgender, binary people or transsexual attraction.

A transwoman is a noun that labels the identity assumed by female-to-male transgender individuals to indicate that they are men but still signify that their history is assigned to a female. The trans woman identity is sometimes adopted by transgender individuals imply they are women, but their history is pegged on males (Blackburn and Thomas, 2020).

Missing terms

Transectionality refers to the overlapping social codes and the elements of oppression, discrimination, or domination. However, the ideas here are that different identities usually interact to form a whole, which primarily different from the other component of identities.

Gender accommodation is also the same as gender sensitivity that means only aware of gender differences but the need to adjust to the differences and adopt the differences. Gender differences, however, do not speak about the existing inequalities that emanate from the norms, relation, and roles or the transformative action.

GenderDysphoria is a term used to describe the distinction between individuals who are designated sex and gender identity based on physical features and their gender orientation.  A gender-neutral pronoun is given a set of pronouns that do not conform with both male and female binary.  The term Gender-neutral is also known as gender pronoun, for example, Ze, hirs, and hir (Polderman et al.,2018).

Gender expression is an external expression that depicts individual identity, such as appearance, voice, and behavior. All the external expression gives an individual a coherent picture of them that can be seen easily. The external feature provides an expression for easy identity (Polderman et al.,2018).
