Why I Deserve to Pursue Master’s in Communication Management at the USC

My desire to join the University of South California began during my high school, and it was instilled to me by my parents who used to encourage me on the need to work hard and study in the United States because they believed that the institutions in this nation were a center of exceptional education.  The University of South California was known for producing professionals in various fields of study, and its reputation as one of the reasons that built my desire to pursue my master’s degree at the University. My parents used to motivate me, and this ensured my unending zeal to develop my career life at the University of South California.

Success in attaining higher levels of education demands hard work, commitment, and having a clear vision and experience in the field of study. When I was growing up, I was an eager apprentice, working very hard to arm myself with the fundamental knowledge relating to communication management. I believed that my enthusiasm for learning would help me reach greater heights in education and my career path. During my undergraduate course in communication management, I was fortunate to get exposure to the duties and the responsibility that relate to communication management. I had the opportunity to interact with successful individuals such as managers of various firms, who are good in communication management. My previous institution organized for several workshops, I was also involved in internship programs, which were vital activities that made me interact with supervisors, managers, and other professionals in the communication industry who served as a motivation to me. This experience helped me build on my skills and ability in communication management, which contributed to my interest in pursuing the degree to the highest level of education. During my studies in China, I had the opportunity to attend an internship program in the leading communication channel. Besides, I worked on my project on how they enhance effectiveness in the communication industry.

While I was working on my projects during my undergraduate studies in China, I got the opportunity to gain field experience, and I was expected to collect the data that I would use in my project. The process of collection compelled me to interact with the public on the quality of the messages that they receive from the media.  The project was about the effectiveness of technology and specifically cloud computing in the management of the business. I interacted with various entrepreneurs and employees from different organizations through interviews and questionnaires. This process helped me understand multiple ways of sharing information, compiling them for analysis, and offering comprehensive feedbacks. The project molded the upbringing that gave me a lot of experience in addition to the exploration that I got during my first internship program. The project helped me in developing the necessary skill in conducting researches. This was a positive experience towards the pursuit of the master’s program as this level of education involves the undertaking of various projects. The exposure inspired me to pursue numerous projects aimed at enhancing efficiency in management communication in my professional career.

I have a strong belief that the University of South California would provide me with excellent training in my professional career because the university offers a wholesome education through the right incorporation of technology to give the students a modern experience of learning. It also involves the master’s students in several project programs, which helps them undertake educational researches that are intense towards their career. Some programs ensure that the students are exposed to professionals through workshops and internships where their operations are supervised by experts and are allowed to learn various skills from them. During my search for the best university in the United States, that would best suit my course.  I found out that the university has a high ranking in the Gourman Report, which convinced me the university of South California is the best when it comes to studies relating to communication and journalism.  I have done in-depth research on the master’s degree in communication, in which I am impressed that the Annenberg School of communication has its career advising office.

My highest motivation is to deepen my previous education through which I acquired skills in communication and the related field of study. Therefore, the best university for my graduate studies is at the University of South California. Given the opportunity to pursue the course at the university, I believe it will help me get valuable knowledge about communication management. Hence the program will provide me with the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the current skill that I acquired while studying my undergraduate course and in my area of specialization. At the university, I intend to specialize in organizational and strategic corporate communication. Through the program, I would contribute to the Weather head culture by actively engaging with other students and professionals to try and find solutions to the challenges facing the communication department within the organizations.

The pursue of the master course will offer me will all the necessary skills to become an expert in communication management. The program provides an opportunity to interact with experts and professionals in the field of communication management. Through the interactions, I will be able to gain experience in the application of knowledge in communication management in the real world. My vision is to acquire the best skills in communication management and use them in improving the status quo for the organizations that I will work with and ensure that they attain success through having the best communication strategies in their operations. I believe the program will be of great help toward achieving my short term and long-term goals in the career. My short-term goal is to acquire knowledge that would help me become a communication specialist. My long-term goal is to become a professor in communication at the university after 15 years of completion of the program. I am ready to do my best to excel in the program. Hopefully, I believe the previous course that I leaned at undergraduate will be of great help during the program, and the studies of the program will lead me to a brighter future and fulfill my dreams.

Finally, my previous experiences, as mentioned above, makes me be fit in skills and ability to manage challenges through the pursuit of this program at the university. Previously attained degree and education have prepared me academically to undertake the program as I have a good foundation in communication management, and I understand what it entails. Having done in-depth research about the university, what the program expects, and the activities that I will be required to undertake through the program have prepared me mentally to pursuing and excelling in the program.
