Part 2

Increasing employee engagement can sometimes be tricky to employers and executive of the organization. As a manager or employer, you need to make sure that employees are passionate and enthusiastic about their job by coming to the office daily with eager to work effectively. In order to achieve this, the executive should encourage flexibility, be authentic and promote taking breaks which will help in impacting positively on their productivity.

Flexibility is one of the best ways of employee engagement that should be utilized by the executive. Giving flexibility to your employees gives them freedom of adjusting their schedules in making sure it suits their needs.  We all know that many employers do not trust their employees in getting organization work done without engaging their managers. This culture kills the morale of employees, and at the time they become disengaged by the overwhelming pressure. However, they are given flexibility in terms of working hours they tend to more productive, happier as well as being more engaged.

Similarly, being authentic plays a critical role in employee engagement.  Executives in any organization should remember that the existence of a sincere relationship between management and employees motivates trust and helps in team building. Therefore, the employee can adopt this approach which will ensure the existence of a conducive working environment where there exists trust. When employees can realize there is an existence of an open concept in an organization, they will not keep necessary things from their peers who will ensure employee engagement.

Lastly, promoting of taking breaks to let say of 5 minutes from their desk to stretch before coming back works best in promoting employee engagement. It helps them is refocusing their mind on dealing with most demanding tasks before their desks which require full attention. This approach indicates to the employee how the management cares about them and encourages them to be more focused and engaged throughout the activities.
