For instance, in India, being an upcoming country, the manager goes the extra mile in recruiting employees because they have to screen candidates in order to see if the skills they have can match the position that is being offered. And this comes with the applicant using different terminologies their use in their country to do things while in the country, hiring is different. With the difference in how to experience their skills, managers find a difficult time.
Labor Laws
The laws that govern the employment industries are complex. So the managers need to follow the laws very well before hiring an applicant. Also, at times due to the complexity in comprehending the laws, some managers ignore them, and this brings some problems later to the company.
Understanding the concept.
Mangers go through a hassle during the recruitment process because finding the applicants that understand the concept and strategies of the company is not easy (Pritchett, 2009). For example, a tour guide understanding what a foreigner means with their language is very difficult. This just shows how the difference in culture can be a major factor in your company’s growth. Therefore, during recruitment, managers need to put this in mind.

In order to evade managers going through many challenges in recruiting applicants. The company needs to implement the following strategies to handle the issues and biases in the company.
- Providing constant training and room for growth. Promoting within provides security and confidence, and this enables the applicant to feel they are valued; they are important to a company.
- Transparency. It comes in line with clear communication. There should be clear communication between the recruiter and the manager on the requirements and roles. This will prevent hiring incompetent employees.
- Having a company’s brand. The brand represents the culture, value, and mission of an organization. And this should entice an applicant to want to work in that company and also stay longer (Pritchett, 2009). The brand should be carried into recruitment strategies, and this will help in attracting similar qualities in a candidate.
