Transnational crime is a phenomenon that is difficult for law enforcement to deal with. Protection racketeering comes at a time when the groups are experiencing reduced income from the pirate activities after intensified security on the ships plying the route. The protection racket for illegal fishing, therefore, provides alternative revenue for the pirates.

Hell’s Angels, who are biking club, is involved in some of the biggest racketeering in the united state. The biking club involves itself in violent activities intimidation and sometimes petty crimes in the areas that they operate. The criminal enterprise which involves itself in racketeering poses a huge problem to the law enforcement as they are a constant menace in the society. Operation across states, the groups are violent ar are currently facing charges with some of the members already in court. Even as the case goes on, the group is engaged in witness intimidation, violence, and another manner of crime.
