The system is developed to automatically pick a specific number of candidates and the types of candidates to be contacted, a process that takes six days. Next, the strategy development phase involves identifying the medium of reaching candidates which takes six days. The system is coded with the most suitable medium (online advertisement sites). Searching and screening milestone involves coding the selection and appointment criteria that takes another six days. The last milestone, evaluation and control, involves coding the induction approach for six days. The system is then complete and ready for usage.

Any delay in the critical path would eventually fail the project in diverse ways, such as failure to meet the project’s deadline. Coding is a thorough process that necessitates ample time with effective follow-up from expertise. Just a single mistake in coding would lead to weeks of recoding the whole system for effective output. However, in case of coding errors, I would use a new team of IT experts in the department to redo the coding and identify the mistakes. Also, there could be challenges from software and hardware failure. The primary approach I would use is outsourcing the coding process to a software developer. However, the developer would work for hand in hand with the organizational HR and IT department.

Description of project time and cost estimates and how your WBS impacts those estimates:

The timeline for the project completion is 30 days and allocated the whole of January. The timeline offers a comprehensive duration for creation, evaluation, analysis, correction, and implementation of a better recruitment and planning system. On the other hand, the approximate budget for the project is $9,500. Each allocation to the various component of the projects ensures that all the milestones are accomplished effectively. For instance, consumables such as power and IT supplies ensures that milestones like evaluation and control are accomplished efficiently. The WBS influences the project time and cost estimates by outlining the durations needed to achieve the various milestones. When the initiation, planning, execution and control, and closeout time takes prolonged duration, the cost estimate rise, unlike for a shorter period.
