Profile essay
Today, I am going to write a profile about Mohsen Shuaib, a student at UA. United by country and ethnicity, Mohsen is a close friend and ally. He is from UAE and specifically grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Shuaib is a student of psychology, which makes him a fascinating person. When most people would go for complex science, Mohsen studies psychology to understand and relate with people more profoundly. I think his background and studies have defined him as a person. I think it takes a priority in ensuring the people around him are doing alright. The motivation to understand himself and the people around him has pushed Mohsen to study psychology. My friend is 23 years old and has a razor focus on his studies and also likes having fun. He enjoys being at UA, and even more, interestingly, he pursues double majors in psychology and IT. when I asked why, Mohsen answered that “people are very stressed in today’s society, I want to develop technologies that can help people access psychological help easily. He thinks that the future of business lies in understanding people and the effective use of technology. He is not afraid of taking more responsibilities considering a double major can be very hectic and time-consuming. More so, I think he has the smarts to handle this kind of pressure.
From our various conversations, Mohsen appears to be an equitable, respectful, and morally grounded person. For instance, from our interviews, Mohsen refuses to share biased political views or divisive personal questions like how much money he has. In the various incidents we have collided, my friend has appeared humble and considerate. In our first encounter, he offered to pay lunch even though we had just met. He is a very dedicated Muslim who says all the prayers and follows every teaching. Yet amidst all these quality values, he refuses to be an annoying person. He tells jokes, plays video games, and likes travel.
From all my encounters, I think Mohsen Shuaib is a very likable person. Furthermore, I think he uses the lesson learned in psychology to enhance personal experience. He is an extremely considerable person. One other thing I noted is that he can be very competitive while playing video games because he enjoys a good challenge. Overall, Mohsen takes his studies seriously, likes to have fun, and he can relate and go along with people.
