Team management, in simple terms, can be defined as the capability organization or individual to monitor and lead a specific group of people to carry out a particular task effectively. The concept of team management usually entails communication, teamwork, performance level, and objective setting. Therefore an effective team management technique will yield better results in terms of performance and actual realization. The managerial decision-making process, on the other hand, is the one that can aid organization stakeholders to make a strategic decision to achieve better results of a particular company. Decision quality and the effectiveness during the implementation of such decisions are among the key factors that most managers have to consider during the managerial decision-making process. There usually various methods and leading criteria that a team leader need to take into considerations to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of a particular team. Effective communication and having a common goal is ideal for the success of any organization.

Good leadership accrues for better performance during teamwork. Basing on the content of the course, I have gained new skills regarding team management. Among them are leadership skills. In this case, team leaders need to make decisions mutually with other team members than doing it individually. I have also come to my understanding that communication is essential during the teamwork. Effective communication ensures that the right message reaches the correct recipient with accuracy. Team leaders as well need to adopt an appropriate method of team management rather than going for command and control only that time appears to be outdated. Therefore the new knowledge is helpful to me since it will enable me to come up with better teamwork in the future. It will allow me to advise such teams that don’t realize their set targets
