The EDP course is designed to assist in improving the strategies and the skills of the students that are necessary for academic success. All the course materials for EDP are available on the school campus (Anderson, 2019). The materials that I have learned in this course have been of great advantage. Just like any other course, EDP has its objectives where it emphasizes the use of strategies and skills prior to, during, and upon completion of learning to support my success.

Evaluation of Planner Goals

The course has been helpful to my fellow scholars and me since I am now able to refine and set goals that are structured to align with particular learning tasks. Before this short course, I was not able to select and apply plans efficiently to assist in my learning. Learning for me used to be complicated, and therefore it led to instances of poor performance. EDP has made it easy to monitor the application and the effectiveness of strategies in my learning. The strategies make work easier for me since my work is planned. Also, I now have the skill to evaluate and adjust the use of strategies to meet the learning goals that I have.

Evaluation of Ability to Understand Learning Tasks and Directions

One of the strategies that I have developed to ensure that I have the ability to understand tasks and goals is reading the syllabus, where I make sure that I understand the activities, requirements, and objectives of the course. Reading the syllabus sheds some light on how one perceives the tasks (Anderson, 2019). Also, the course has made it easy for me to understand that the weekly planner should not be viewed as just work but as a method of enhancing the organizational skills that I already have. Keeping track of the weekly planner enables me to keep up with deadlines and distribute the work efficiently and competently to ensure that I understand the tasks well.

Additionally, to be successful in class, I have the understanding that it is vital to keep everything. This means that I make sure that I keep my work in a manner that is organized in a safe place. One never knows that the work may be effective in the future or sooner in assisting in the completion of significant projects. The learning strategies portfolio is an example of an item that can be used at the end of the semester to complete certain projects and work. Lastly, to ensure that I understand all the learning objectives and directions, I make sure to do my best to attend all classes since it is worth it. The course has made it clear that the activities in class are purposed to assist in the completion of significant course projects and requirements.

Evaluation of Ability to Select and Apply Learning Strategies

As compared to the past, today, I can control the time that I spend on learning by having learning strategies that are effective in proportioning tasks in components that are manageable. Unlike in the past, I am able to monitor the effectiveness and the use of effective strategies in learning. Also, I am now able to develop and apply learning attributions that are grounded factors that are manageable.

Next Steps for Your Learning

The knowledge that I have learned in the EDP course is exceptionally vital in determining the next steps for my learning. I will now be able to manage time appropriately by having strategies for learning, which I will follow to the latter. Also, the organizational skills that I have developed will help me in my learning to balance my course work in order to meet deadlines. The policies, of course, have made me more punctual, and therefore, I know that I will be able to deliver work before deadlines. I will avoid dishonesty at all levels as it has serious consequences.
