Topic and Research Questions. My broad topic is Generalized Anxiety Disorder
My interest in Generalized Anxiety Disorder GAD started with higher importance of knowing what some of the actual means of treatment are. With the prevalence of the condition getting their treatment remains one of the most worrying issues. Generalized anxiety disorder is often characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a number of various things. People with GAD do often anticipate disaster and may be overly concerned about money, health, a family, among other issues.
Such individuals to worry more than it seems wanted about actual events and or may expect the worse even when there is no apparent reason for any concern. Very often, victims of the disorder when an individual finds it quite difficult to control worry on more days than not for at least six months. These differentiae the condition from anxiety that may be definite as a set stressor or for a more limited period.
For people suffering from an anxiety disorder, in some cases, just the mere thought of getting through a day produces anxiety. Such an individual does not know how to stop the circle of worry which they are often involved in. They do feel such an issue that worries them are even beyond their control. Even though they do realize that their level of anxiety is more interest than the actual situation warrants. Often, all anxiety disorder may relate to difficulty in tolerating uncertainty, and therefore most people with the condition do try to plan or control situations.

- The source does support my initial position over the topic. However, one thing that comes up from the research is the generalized anxiety disorder is a behavioral change and can be reversed over time through behavioral therapy. The treatment is a gradual process.
- From the above source, the most crucial element of the generalized anxiety disorder is that it is used by the life-threatening even witnessed by an individual in the past, however, some of the sources have hinted that alcohol and drug use and even nicotine or caffeine use can cause or worsen anxiety. If one addicted to any of these substances, quitting can make you anxious. This can result in generalized anxiety disorder if not monitored over some time.
Conclusion
From the study, much need to be done to ensure that treatment of the GAD is done in the right way. However, most important an immediate behavioral therapy should always be conducted on the patients immediately after life-threating even that causes the condition.
