What is the secret behind Area 51?

For many years, this has been an essential debate about what Area 51 is and what are the secrets behind it? Many questions come to mind about why the place is dangerous and whether aliens are living there. The mystery of the site raises a lot of questions, Whether the government is hiding foreigners here or is it just a military base and if so, why is it kept a secret? The authority promptly answered the questions, but it was not clear why the place was so secret, what was there and what were the reasons behind it. Answering all these questions, let us know the details about it.

About Area 51 

President Eisenhower ordered to find a secret and high-altitude place where aircraft and weapons can secretly develop and examine. They said that place will have to out of sight of civilians and should not easily access like a remote area. Area should have to sufficiently far away so nobody could even reach there. In actual, they required a spy area. So, after some effort, they find Area 51. Area 51 is the name of the location on Map, in dessert Nevada. (Peters, L. 2019) It is the test and training range of highly classified (USAF)United States Air Force. The place also has other names like Groom Lake (a dry lake) and KXTA, which means Homey Airport. If we talk about what this mysterious place looks like, we’ll know the area exists on a huge part. It has a dry lake with only this area around it. But if you want to know it with a map, this is risky. In this area, they do development and experiments of nuclear weapons and aircraft. But detailed of everything is not much publicly known. It remains a secret as military and technicians are working on a secret technology, to improve stealth technology, spying technology, electronic systems and many more, which they still hiding from us.

Area 51 originated in 1955 when Tony Levier a test pilot, chose this place to test the U-2 on a runway. It has a runway of up to 12000 ft and spread in over 90,000 acres. In August, U-2 done his first flight successfully from Groom Lake. Afterwards, A-12 Blackbird, F-117A stealth fighter also successfully takes off from this area. (“The creation”, 2016) Over time, the area became fully occupied by the military forces with high-security cameras. It remained a mystery until August 2013, and then the US government and CIA unveiled it. After its disclosure, Obama became the first president of this area. Later, Area 51 book written by Annie Jacobsen, which she has written with the help of over 70 people who are almost worker there and gives the firsthand knowledge about the secret. (“The small”, 2019)

Area 51 other name is the birthplace of the CIA. The intelligence agencies started working with the army by creating a spy platform here. They work on spy weapons with latest and advanced technology just like aliens and flying boats. At this place, the defence department works on highly secret and sensitive programs. Well-trained paramilitary forces are here to tackle counterterrorism. In Area 51, they prepare foreign fighters to defend the country. With the public out of sight, the fighters here do not even know where they are and where they are going. Area does not allow the public to go inside it, as there are warning signs, guards and electronic surveillance which can also result in loss of life. It is also illegal to fly over this specific area. (Vox, A. 2019)

Here the question arises, how much Area 51 can develop the spying capability of America?

We can estimate it from the U-2 spies craft, which can fly up to 500 miles and 70,000 feet within an hour. If anyone thinks of making it, how much work does it have to do with it? In this area, they inspect such incredible forces and then use them.

“Cammo Dudes” are the security guards around Area 51. They patrol outside 24/7, so nobody could come around that area. They wear camouflage gear because of the desert. They are not soldiers, but they are armed people. They are so tough that they are not fearless at all and do not disclose their secrets at any cost. (Peters, L. 2019)

So, they have placed signboards of danger signs around the area, so that anyone who tries to get there first sees them. They strictly forbid taking photos, flying a drone or any other secret activity there, so whoever tries to do this, then forces will not treat them with gentleness and will have to pay for it. Now they know why this place became a centre of the espionage technology and then their training and what was the purpose of building such a remote location? 

By answering this, Annie Jacobsen says that when the president assigned a man named Richard Bissell to find a place where they could work safely by staying away from hunters. So, Bissell flew in with one of his friends and got the president’s order to fulfil it. He found a base around a lake that was dry where the government could build its nuclear weapons. It was wartime, and the president wanted to make himself a nuclear power to deal with the war in the days to come. So, they easily succeeded in their purpose. (“The small”, 2019)

They keep secret not only the location of the area but also the people working there. That they can’t leak anything outside, everything they kept secret. One of the most critical issues remains under discussion for several years was that; How do alien narratives and UFOs (Unidentified flying objects come about? Till 1980, it remained a secret. But suddenly, an engineer namely Bob Lazar, came outside and told in a program he has worked on a flying saucer in Area 51. He also said that he has also seen an alien there. (Peters, L. 2019) Until now, the secret was entirely invisible, and after this incident came out and became the centre of attention of the people. People got surprised, and there was a reaction to an extreme concern. Some people have occasionally noticed that there is a flying object, having no visible engine. Even no one is sitting in it, and it is on a high altitude. People became curious to know what that thing was. They were eager to know the secret. So, the government and the CIA decided that it would put an end to the people’s curiosity so they would not set a precedent for them. Later, it comes out that it is an advanced technology through which they made such spy gadgets. Now the CIA feels that more rumours and secrets will reveal over time, so they started running a false information campaign. (Vox, A. 2019)

When the war on terror was waging in 2000, most of the secrets of this mysterious came out. They presented the same idea about it that there is work on the technology system; everything that is being built and tested is being done for the better. Some people say they will attack and see what is happening there. While the government convinced them, it is not possible to enter this area. No one can go near this place, not even the law enforcement agency. They give the right to go there only to those who can give their opinion and are experts. Some top military or government officers have the privilege to go there, and they see the technology, and they don’t believe it is man-made or not. And it does not allow them to discuss anything outside; otherwise, they must pay for it. (Vox, A. 2019)

By knowing about this place as if it were a cold place and protected by the best technology and privacy. All this is not an alien space, but they work there on the latest technology secretly. For the time being in this region, experiments are also being carried out with the help of modern science and technology to protect the world from terrorism and wars. This area is an important centre for US defence and future development with advanced and latest technology. That is why they do it here with complete confidentiality. (Vox, A. 2019)

The whole result is that they created this area to defend the country to avoid severe casualties such as wars and terrorism. Where they can develop their secret weapons with the help of advance and spying technology to protect themselves completely. They made the area out of the reach of the public, so it remains a mystery because people get curious again. So, they could secretly do the job well and let no one interfere with their things. They don’t reveal their secrets anymore. They will keep their work a mystery even in the days to come and continue to increase their power of defence.
