You did an excellent work of contributing ideas in this week’s discussion on probation. I agree with you that probation as a component in criminal justice systems is very important in improving a person. Probation helps an individual change in character as they serve a sentence without being imprisoned. I also agree that boot camps are essential to proper decision making particularly the youth inmates serving a sentence (Gascón & Roussell,2018). However,I think boot camps are also in the development of community since it enables inmates to engage in community activities.
