Having considered both the financial and social aspects involved in expatriate life in India, and compared it to other countries, the general conclusion is that it is a move worth pursuing.
By using the HSBC country comparison tool, the selected candidate whose home country is the United States would quickly relocate to India, where the Disney job is available. The overall living conditions would not drastically change, as indicated by the provided rankings, which are nearly similar. However, the candidate might experience a harder time settling in compared to the conditions back home. The financial situation will be most affected since the income and economic stability are expected to decrease significantly. Career aspirations are also likely to take a dip. Despite all the unfavorable comparisons, the candidate should experience a lot of ease in making friends and schooling while in India.
