Artwork in China
Artwork in China has been used to promote the culture of the country. Weiwei is an example of a famous Chinese artists, whose works have continued to shape the cultural and political landscape in China. His creative artwork was, is an indication of the conceptual brilliance of artists within the nation[1]. An example of his artwork, which drew global recognition, Coca-Cola urn, the image of “Lu Qing demurely lifting her skirt before Tiananmen Square.”[2] His art reminded the world of the events leading to the Tiananmen Square massacre. Through his blog, Weiwei has promoted art, which condemn political policy and to criticize the Chinese government. Xu Bing is another perfect example of a prominent artist in China whose work has promoted the aspects of language and art[3]. His work been the primary reason why China’s tradition continues to be famous globally. Thus, artists within China have therefore played a key role in promoting of the country’s culture and shaping political views.
