Academic writing is a common requirement in colleges and universities. This type of writing is used by most students to write down their expertise on various subjects in their course. During the school courses, most students are always asked to produce short essays, reports and long thesis papers that cover different topics. Academic papers are given to students to write in order to improve their analytical writing. Academic writing requires one to follow certain rules that guide the writer into producing quality work. The language used in academic papers also has to be very technical. This usually provides a problem for students while because most of their learning materials do not follow the rules of an academic paper. Thus most students don’t get much experience about academic papers to form their learning materials. However, learning to be a Great academic writer has proven beneficial to human intellectual development in many ways. One of the benefits is that a writer is able to improve his or her writing skills. This is impossible by practising and writing a lot of academic papers. Secondly, academic writing also stimulates intellectual development. Moreover, academic writing trains one to write according to the rules. It is important for a student to follow all the rules that are required in an academic paper which might be useful in the business world. Despite these benefits, most of the writing outside the academy does not require one to follow these rules. Academic writing is mostly practised in university course; it is not common in the outside world

In my academic writing, I try my best to incorporate the stylistic themes that I come across in peer review article. Reading other students academic papers is the best way to understand how different rules and ways of writing that can be used. I always find it interesting and knowledgeable when reading other students papers because I get to understand the different theme and technical language I can use. Reading academic papers that are from different courses and topics helps me improve my analytical thinking and also expands my ideas on how I can write a perfect academic paper. Over the course of my college years, I have written a lot of academic papers about different topics. In these papers, I have included technical language that is required in the academic papers. I believe that my academic writing skills have improved over the years. Writing has improved my way of approaching questions. I am able to understand the question clearly, analyze it and come up with a good thesis statement.

Academic writing can be better for students by improving their analytical thinking and improving their understanding of different topics. Students who often write academic papers show improvement of thinking logically and express their thoughts clearly on paper. Academic writing is also serves as a tool of communication where a student is able to write down his or her understanding of the topic that is being discussed. The student is able to think critically and also focus on the techniques and style that are needed in academic writing. Academic writing can also improve thinking and analytical skills for the public. Through academic writing one is able to clearly define the concept of a topic. Public writers can improve their writing by studying academic writing. Public writers will be able to improve their discipline in writing and also distill public writers thinking in it absolute core. Academic writing is important to synthesis literature which helps a writer to clearly and logically discuss topics.
