- Dec 09: At the request of Gideon Entz (Suncor Drilling Coordinator), dispatch to Fort McMurray to collect extra water sampling containers from AGAT labs and drop off at laydown yard. Travel to OB62 and begin the pre-site inspection. Shortly after arriving on OB62, at the request of Gideon, proceed to Mackay River security gate to collect 1m3 Enviro-bags from the Tervita delivery driver. Sign for bags, load them into the pickup and transport to OB63 and laydown yard. Due to little daylight remaining, the pre-site on OB62 to be finished the following day. Return to camp.
- Dec 10: Dispatch to Pond 6 to verify route and disposal location. Travel to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor), who provides site orientation and informs me that PD117 will spud the following day.
- Dec 11: Travel to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor), who provides site orientation. Inspect wellsite for any spills and housekeeping issues, none present. GPS/photo document lease boundary and wellcenter. Sign out with Donnie and exit location. At the request of Gideon Entz (Suncor Drilling Coordinator), dispatch to pond 6 to collect DataDrill equipment. Arrive at pond 6 command center and collect equipment. Travel to drilling laydown yard and leave equipment with Gideon. Return to camp.
- Dec 12: Dispatch to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor). Inspect wellsite for any spills and housekeeping issues, none present. Meet up with Peter Matthews (Wrangler Supervisor) and discuss site clean up operations following rig release. Return to camp
- Dec 13: Dispatch to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor). Inspect wellsite for any spills and housekeeping issues, none present. Observe cement job for any spills, none present. Return to camp.
- Dec 14: Dispatch to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor). Inspect wellsite for any spills and housekeeping issues, none present. Travel to OB62 and re-start the pre-site inspection. GPS/photo document lease boundary and wellcenter. Create site schematic outlining any potential spill migration routes and buried cables. Return to camp
- Dec 15: Dispatch to OB63. Sign in with Donnie Fraser (On-Site Supervisor). Inspect wellsite for any spills and housekeeping issues, minor drill cuttings found on the ground near shaker bin causing unstable footing situation. Contact Wrangler to remove cuttings and place in shale bin, and back-blade ground to smooth out work area. Return to camp.
