Importance of internship report

This internship position will provide me with an opportunity to learn and improve my electrical engineering skills, particularly in the power distribution sector. I reviewed the requirements and saw an emphasis on full-time availability, so it seemed like a great fit. My three months attachment at KPLC (Nairobi South) allowed me to gain a vast understanding of the internal workings of the organization; therefore, I am confident that I could get up to speed very quickly and start contributing results for your organization as an intern.

Acquiring hands-on skills is my number one priority. At the end of this internship, I also hope to find mentors and peers who will advise and guide me as I advance in my career.

While attending my electrical and electronic engineering coursework, I learned a great deal about many subjects, including calculus, the economics of power, and transmission and distribution of power. By undertaking complex calculations, I understood that hard work and discipline in specific relation to a career in accounting, the case studies I encountered, along with my job training placement, gave me a significant boost of confidence in my accounting knowledge.

The accomplishments I am most proud of is graduating with a Second Class Honors Upper-Division, despite the numerous financial challenges. Another one of my greatest career achievement to date was being promoted to a team leadership position in my most recent role. I was given the promotion after just 6 months because of my high level of reliability. I hope to extend this dependability to my future position as an intern at KPLC.

I thrive on achieving and exceeding my goals. Knowing that my hard work and perseverance will help me attain greater professional success is what keeps me going. I feel that aligning the company’s vision and values with my own is one way to achieve that. My motivation is seeing the organization grow, which ultimately leads to personal achievement and success. There might be instances of failure or stagnation but they do not demotivate me anyhow; instead, I feel re-invigorated to perform even more.

I believe my greatest my greatest strength is being self-motivated and detail oriented. I succeeded in my last position because electrical terminations required high attentiveness to detail, which is my greatest strength. I feel that my success this far, both academically and professionally, has been through being self-motivated and goal-oriented. These traits will help me to thrive as an intern at Kenya Power

I find that it is easy for me to pick up on required skills. I am also driven to complete tasks, no matter how difficult. Overall, I truly enjoy excelling and pushing myself to learn and grow, both professionally and on a personal level
