Central sensitization syndrome patients who have sensory problems experience hyperalgesia and allodynia.

When you have allodynia, a light touch or a wind blowing across your arm or legs may feel uncomfortable or even irritating. The patient’s know they should not be as sensitive to such a light touch, but they actually feel it and may even think that they are going crazy.
