Introducing fluffy – A dog that is suffering from anxiety

Just like humans, dogs too experience anxiety. This can be unpleasant but also a healthy emotion. Anxiety affects all dog breeds but can affect each dog differently. Meet fluffy, his eight years old, and has been living with William since he was eight months. Fluffy is amongst many dogs that are suffering from anxiety.

Fluffy is an anxious dog who is scared of almost everything due to incidences that have occurred in his life. His owner, William, wants the best for his fur friend and would love to help him reduce his anxiety, improve his mood and his general well-being.

When William took Fluffy in, he was full of energy and friendly. He enjoyed taking his walks and socializing with other dogs in the park. This changed when William took him to the park and ran towards three dogs. The dog attacked fluffy and chased him and was lucky to be alive. Since then, fluffy has been unfriendly with big dogs but can relate well with small dogs.

Fluffy’s behavior has become unpredictable too. He can sometimes be gentle to strangers and sometimes become aggressive to those he knows well. Fluffy recently attacked William’s cousin and injured him that they had to take him to Williams place.
