IPL 2020
India is a country where everyone loves the game of cricket. In the year 2009, the game format of 20-20 was introduced with the evolution of the Indian Premier League which is also much popular as IPL. This tournament is now considered as the biggest cricket show where fans can see their favourite players offering the best of their performance. It is the format which is of limited overs and hence limited hours also. The popularity of this format can be seen by increasing the value of players as well as teams. Many companies also have got their teams in this format which adds to the spirit of the game and performance of each player. There is hardly any player in cricket world who will not love to be a part of this tournament. The formation:
This will be the 13th season of IPL, and officially it will be known as Vivo IPL. The format of the game will be knockout only where 8 participants will play against each other in 60 matches to have the IPL trophy of 2020. Expected date of the tournament inauguration will be 23rd March 2020 and will be completed on 12 May 2020. For this tournament, total 12 players were transferred.
Among the players, Pat Cummins was taken by Kolkata Knight Riders at a massive price of $2.2 million. Piyush Chawla is another player whom Chennai Super Kings bought for $9,80,000.
Among the leading players who were released by the owners include the names of Yuvraj Singh, Chris Lynn and Robin Uthappa. Jaydev Unadkat is also one of the players who were released by their team. He was the costliest player in the IPL 2019.
