Introduction
Brecht was known for making audiences identify social wrongs and be changed by play, causing them to change their way of living. He reminded the viewers that his play was reality representation and not reality.
Lee’s statement
The statement places emphasis on the complexities of the connections that happen across the cultural borders on an everyday basis. His film shows the intricacy and beauty of life almost effortlessly developing its features with complexity and depth. Lee works to represent violence causes violence while requesting the audience to know about how to react to senseless institutionalized victimization and death. He applied a real character with actions and opinions that hinder them from being a box (wrong or right). He points to the inevitable complexity that results from looking at humankind through the feelings developed from people.
