Population used

The spread of diabetes has dramatically increased in developing countries over recent years.  An estimated population of about 366 million [people have diabetes, especially among those aged between 20-29 years.  The study was carried in 6 years at Pima in India, where more than 1000 individuals who were diabetic free were used. Combined gender was used for the study regardless of the age since it provided an excellent basis to relate the disease with current time. Many men were found to be more active than the female gender. The people used were also from different lifestyles since the way of life had a significant impact on the types and eating habits. There was also a consideration of the levels of awareness about the disease in the population.

Findings and discussion

The study found out that more men were more active than women. The level of glucose use in men was high, and this posed them to less risk of suffering from diabetes. On the other hand, women were not more active and experienced more cases of the disease.  There was also high consumption of fats, sugars, and flour among the rich, which posed them to more enormous implications of the disease. According to the study, self-awareness in the sample population had a significant impact on the complications of the disease. The study noted that those aware of the condition in the sample population led a quality lifestyle and observed good feeding habits, which posed them to fewer risks of the disease. The use of soft drinks increased consumption of red meat, fried foods, and sweets increased the dangers of insulin failure, thus increasing the sugar level in the blood. The study, therefore, noted that diabetic effects could highly be controlled by increasing the personal knowledge on diet and eating habits. Foods with low levels of fats are much encouraged with the checked quantity of food taken.

Adoption in modern treatment methods.

The study carried noted that diet control measures had a high impact on the people suffering from diabetes and posed a significant risk to those without the disease. The review was successful, and therefore, diet control measures can be adopted in the treatment methods. The tool will help eradicate the consequences if the disease and, more so, reduce the occurrences of the disease.

Psychological aspect

Personal psychology has an impact on the types of food we take. Own awareness of the contents of various foods dictates the kind of food an individual will receive. Psychology is also very essential since it makes an individual see the necessity of exercise. Individuals suffering from the disease can be encouraged to take on regular exercise. Furthermore, better methods of feeding can be taught to all individuals.

Religious aspect

Religion has posed a challenge to the treatment of diabetes using the diet management tool. Some religions have a negative attitude towards several foods used to reduce the fat levels and thus reduced blood glucose levels. However, various religions provide food to the sick, and if diet management is taught, it will help reduce disease complications. Individuals suffering can also be prayed for and thus heal from the disease.

Culture aspect

Culture has a significant influence on the type of food a particular population takes, and there is a particular food that is associated with specific cultures in different parts of the world. Some foods have high levels of fats and oil contents and have been dictated to increase the amount of sugar in the blood. Culture, more so, exposes its people to different economic activities. Some make people very active, while others make people less productive. A solution to the problems posed by culture in diabetes treatment can be eradicated by educating people on proper dietary methods and encourage them to be more active in their day to day activities. Traditional doctors are also used to heal the disease using herbal medicine.

Conclusion

Diet has an impact on the risks it possesses to individuals who have diabetes. Diet management is essential and should be taught to individuals to help eradicate the consequences of diabetes. Individuals should be made aware of the disease and how better they can prevent disease occurrence. The work has described healthy eating, and quality foods will help eradicate diabetes, and therefore, let us embrace it.
