College Entrance Essay
As a young adult, I did not know where my future would lead. But as the age advanced so quickly, it started to dawn on me that it is time to pave the path to myself. Thoughts of how I would live my future life had filled my head and what exactly I wanted to do. Contemplating the vast careers possibility, I could not exactly find what could seize my attention until I had an in-depth discussion with my mother. As we talked about the real world that I was to join soon and what exactly I was going to be doing, my mother told me that the universe would always require more engineers. Having a great interest in mathematics and colossal ability in sciences, I believed that I had finally found what I have been looking for.
When my college search commenced, I wanted an institution where I would be in a position to grow and learn in an academic, vibrant environment that that would place me on a healthy way towards my future. Coming across VCU, I realized that I had found a school that had everything I could ever need in a university. Located in the urban city of Richmond, it is such an exciting experience, and you feel you are part of something greater than yourself. VCU is a university filled with the great mind of innovativeness and inspiration. Being surrounded by individuals so diverse boosts personal growth, tolerance and open-mindedness. Filled with high aspiration and hope, I visited VCU school, and as I experienced its beautiful surroundings, the more I discovered that this is the place I wanted to be.
