Such decisions are made to avoid risks of failure, making the company perform well in the market. However, Increment list Model is referred to as “mudding through” which shows that managers rarely make decisions radical from their previous choices. “mudding through” shows that managers avoid the risks of failure by way of making small changes that might lead to new actions ultimately. The incremental approach proposes small measures as a lack of complete information hinders managers. Recently apple inc company has changed its “innovation first” approach changing its business strategy completely. The company focused its resources intending to discover new technologies that are deemed fit to improve the technology market. Also, under the watch of Tim Cook as the CEO focused on streamlining apple business operations aiming the company reducing its operating costs. The principal objective of Apple Company remains as the innovation, which is the critical part of the Apple business strategy. Consequently, apples recent changes are incremental.

Tim Cook has consistently made sure that the apple controls its desired technology destiny. The company further has mainly focused on enterprise sales (Tansim, 2018). The company has maintained its big deal with IBM to sell its devices to the cooperate world. Consequently, the apple means business with iPad pro getting increment in its target at business with the company reframing the iPad in which interest of the consumer device is declining to the next-generation business laptop which has high demand. The company has combined provision of both services and device sales. For instance, the company aims to generate substantial revenue from digital devices such as apple play, app store, and Icloud as well as the hardware sales. The company further focused on in cooperating in the new idea of seasons and collections for products such as Apple Watch which is a collaboration with Hermes on bands. For instance, the refreshed apple store reflects influence which is presented less as tech doodads but more as fashion products. The strategy aims to generate massive revenue to the company and at the same time serving the purpose of an excellent marketing strategy.

Tim Cook respects the past achievements of the company and at the same time look forward into the future of breakthrough. Tim Cook is well known as a visionary, leader whose communication is excellent, especially in the workplace. He has a passion for serving the company, takes it upon himself to be accountable for any activity taking place in the company and is a man of high integrity. Many of his interviews show that Tim Cook deeply respects the former apple CEO and has no intention whatsoever to railroad over the left legacy built at the apple. Under his watch, Tim cook has maintained a transformational leadership from his former boss making apple in the business of creating a kind of transformational leaders that is aimed to keep Apple ahead of the competition

The evidence further suggests that the company is doing well, thus moving forward. Those kinds of moves speak volumes about Cooks leadership aim towards such changes. The company’s market value is more than double that of its competitors.
