The impeachment of President Donald Trump

The impeachment of President Donald Trump is long overdue due to the atrocities his administration and himself have subjected the citizens of the United States. On 20th January 2017 is the day in which Donald Trump was paraded in the Capitol, placed his left hand in the Bible, and took an oath to execute all duties associated with the office of the united state of America Presidency. During the oath process, he promised to promise to protect, secure, and safeguard the constitution of the United States. Surprisingly, he broke almost all these promises in the first few days by not keeping his promise of living and acting within the means of that constitutional office. Over time he has undertaken all measures to undermine the rule of law and contravene the ruling principles of constitution that form the foundation of the USA. He has initiated and aggravated division from all quarters, both domestic and foreign, by setting himself against the American dream of equality in each race, sex, and ideology.  The harm caused by President Trump’s guilelessness, self-love, bogus identicalness, and compassion toward autocrats is hard to ascertain (Appelbaum n.p). From his actions, I can argue that Trump should be impeached with immediate effect. This are some of the examples, but in this paper am going to display his other negative that is leading to his impeachment.

From the dealing and the event following the swearing-in of President Trump, it evident that he has abused the power that was endowed on him to protect the constitution and execute all things in the manner that alludes to the rule of law (Bowman 45-68). He has abused this power by dealing with Ukraine; he broke three laws; supervision of domestic law on national security organization, control of presidential power, and interference with an international strategy.

From the transcription, the president commended the Attorney General to initiate an investigation on unprofaned claims against his political competitor Joe Biden in the forthcoming election and his son’s business interest in Ukraine. This transcription alludes that the president collided with his Ukraine counterpart to expose Joe Biden in order to restrict him from the 2020 presidential election, thus giving Trump a political millage. According to the rule of law, the president is not allowed to used his power to undermine the political process or give himself a political millage at the expense of his opponents (Levine n.p).

In this case, the president uses two internal presidential forces and employed geopolitical power enjoyed by the United States to blackmail Ukraine with the termination of military support in order to help him win the forthcoming presidential election.  Therefore the impeachment of President Trump is long overdue, for he has failed at all costs to abide by the basic rule of law, and being left to hold the tremendous power associated with the office will continue to jeopardize national security.  In exchange for this support, the president organized for Ukraine president visit followed by solidification of $391 million military support to Ukraine, which is currently at war with both Russia and Kremlin-supported state armies. According to revelation presented by U.S.A European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland, these monies were awarded on condition that Zelensky (Ukraine president) initiate an investigation on Joe Biden and his son (Cohen, n.p). Therefore the president used taxpayer’s money, which is made to help foreign governments to restore global security to advocate for his own agenda, according to Vindman and Tim Morrison authorities on the White House’s National Security Council, who tuned in to the Trump-Zelensky call. This was supported by Ambassador Bill Taylor U.S negotiator in Ukraine matters who said that any form of help Ukraine wanted depended on its government initiation of these investigations.

This means that Ukraine was given everything it wanted at the expense of the USA strategy in the country and the continent at large. Therefore despite Ukraine benefiting from the help, the assistance fanatically intrigued USA national interest in Ukraine. From the world go, Ukraine was not USA national interest, but due to the skewed demand of the president, he allowed his perception and personal interest to overrule those of the national interest. President Trump put his political advantages first at the expense of national security interests, which he vowed to protect at all costs. That is the reason why the impeachment process against him for these reasons; a fact which has been conceded by the acting White House head of staff, Mick Mulvaney. The correspondent argued that Ukraine researched the fear inspired notions about Russian interference in 2016 and the Democratic National Committee’s hacked servers. Mulvaney immediately strolled back a portion of his remarks, yet the harm was at that point done. According to the Democratic politicians, the ante and the compensation to Ukraine are commensurate to “pay off,” which virtually qualify as a gift which is recorded in the Constitution as an impeachable offense (Fischer and Erin n.p).

In the same line president, Trump instructed his lawyer Rudy Giuliani to lead in the Ukraine investigation, which contravenes national policy on international engagement. First, his Lawyer is not a state official, and his duties are limited to the president’s matter, not state affairs. In executing these instructions, Giuliani dodged the official international engagement State Department channels, thus undermining local and international engagement agreements. According to Taylor, the person in charge of US interests in Ukraine, “The sporadic endeavors undermined the international authority strategy of the United States drove by Mr. Giuliani.”  it alludes that the president instructed  Energy Secretary to work closely with Giulini on the  Ukraine and debasement related issues. Therefore the president mishandled state officials working under his government and controlled the State Department for political addition and having Giuliani do his dirty work.

Nevertheless, according to Giulini, all that he did was intended to shield his customer and that shielding Trump from “bogus allegations” really “is in the country’s well being.” These issues amount to treason and have a substantial base for the impeachment of any state official, even including the president. From these arguments, it is clear that the president abused the office he vowed to protect, and it is clear that he is incompetent in the execution of duties associated with the office of the president of the United States of America (Holtzman 56-80).

Centrally to the abuse of law and inability to live up to the promise he vowed to achieve, Donald Trump portrays the absence of poise, regard, and companion toward women. In non-military personal life, the president has been on several occasions acted toward horde more individuals as somebody presented with the magnificent forces of President of the United States.  Since these issues are in public domain, there is no getting away from them, and he should be held accountable for being a dreadful individual who holds low regard to gender issues and the cornerstone pillar of our society. From the 1990s, the present personal life has been surrounded by the female accusation of sexual assault led by Elle exhortation editorialist E. Jean Carroll. According to the book, All the President’s Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator, Barry Levine, and Monique El-Faizy uncover over 43 cases of the female assault allegation against the president. These allegations stretch back to his young age and training in college before ascent into the richness and legislative issues. This portrays as a female predator who takes cover behind his material possession and legislative, institutional influence, thus regularly annoying our female counterpart. Although he has publically denounced these claims, the book uncovers over 43 accounts of female assault, including over 24 accounts of endurable sexual against different ladies.  This painted picture of someone who should be in the first place given the mental to lead a political party, which has an immense influence on a global scale. The swearing-in of President Trump in the office of the president was the greatest injustice that has been done to the female population of the United States of America. Therefore his impeachment will serve as justice to all injustice he had done to the female of this country.

According to Carpenter (n.p) president, Trump’s mistreatment of women is a clear abuse of his power ad, the president of the most powerful nation in the world. Trump has, on several occasions, been portrayed as diminishing this allegation and considering them as nonissue to his leadership. This makes his transgression as a hindrance to his pressure. The president has continuously demined this allegation and threatened his accuser “ people should pay dearly for such false accusation,” thus making the accuser pay dearly.  As a result, the woman who has accused him of sexual assault has their reputation tarnished, subject to threat, and surveillance for national secret service, which guard the president 24hour a day. This lack of respect, empathy, and dignity toward women during his civilian life shows how inhumane and inconsiderate he is to be trusted with the office of the president. To portray his power while in office, the president has objected to being guided by the constitution and drives his zeal against his antagonist from social media and television consideration associated with his office, thus making reckless mistakes toward women and public issues. It is because of this reason this paper calls for the fast impeachment of President Trump.

In a different context, the president has been hitting the headlines on different occasions of being accused of racial profiling and issues. The USA is a multiracial country that recognizes all people as equal citizens inscribed in the constitution. In disregard of this constitutional clause in February 2017 during a public interview, the president stereotyped an African American reporter. At the point when April Ryan inquired as to whether he intends to meet and work with the Congressional Black Caucus, he over and over requested that she set up the gathering — even as she demanded that she is “only a reporter.”  In a Bipartisan gathering in January of 2018, Trump, about Haiti and African nations, “For what reason are we having every one of these individuals from shithole nations come here?” (Lopez n.p) In progression to his segregation nature, he proposed that the country should welcome more people from Norway, alluding that Immigrants from only people from predominantly white people are great for the USA, unlike that from poor, overwhelmingly dark nations. On several occasions, the president has been accused of using social medial like twitter to propagate hate crime against people from different races like “from nations whose administrations are finished and all-out calamity” and therefore they should go back to where they came from. The continuous racial profiling against the citizen who overwhelmingly voted for him not only makes him less deserving of the position he holds but also diminishes such a prestigious position (Freeman n.p).

In conclusion, the U.S has never had a worse president than Donald Trump. He has proved to be grossly incompetent to hold the highest public in the U.S and, therefore, can not continue to serve. It is, therefore, only right that Donald Trump is impeached. The present has been, on several occasions, accused of several accounts of law violation that contravenes the ethics and ethos that are associated with the office he holds. As accounted above and in the supreme law of the country “constitution,” the United States is a Democratic, and any sitting president should not use his power to influence election millage on his side. He should at all cot conduct himself with decorum and respect the nature of USA diversity in terms of population composition as well as gender.
