Bhanu Choudhrie
Bhanu Choudhrie was born in India in 1978. His father is the business mogul Sudhir Choudhrie and currently lives in London. He attended Boston University after his high school studies and attained a double major in International Business and Marketing. Later on he enrolled at the Harvard Business School where he did the Owner Management Program.
He is the executive director of C&C Alpha Group, which he founded in 2001 and with offices in London. Bhanu Choudhrie has been responsible for investment, planning, and operations. The company specializes in aviation, banking, healthcare, banking, utilities, aviation, and real estate. They offer consulting and advisory services to startups and existing business ventures to ensure that they reach their maximum potential. They sold part of the group, Alpha Hospitals to Cygnet Healthcare at an estimated cost of 95 million euros.
By 2006, Bhanu Choudhrie started Alpha Aviation Group, a pilot training center in the United Kingdom and other branches in the UAE and the Philippines. The center provides pilots for other airlines in the region, for instance Cebu Pacific, VietJet, and Air Arabia. He is known for his philanthropic causes; Bhanu Choudhrie is the director of Path to Success. A charitable organization that was founded by his mother in India; its mission is to help disadvantaged women. Their focus is on education and community engagements especially the disabled women athletes. They launched a campaign in 2018, dubbed Path to Tokyo 2020, sponsoring the athletes in Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball, Para Powerlifting, and Para-Badminton.
Apart from his philanthropic causes and executive positions, he is also a board member for different organizations. He sits at the board of Customers Bancorp in the United States for their risk and executive committee. He is also the director of Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation before it the acquisition in 2018. He is the co-founder of Megalith Capital Management.
He is an avid supporter of the UK Liberal Democrats and even supported them during the General Election in 2010. He has been awarded for his excellent work and named the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian Voice Political and Public Life.
