Deaths resulting from Cancer have continued to increase in the current times since its discovery. Without an absolute cure, Cancer of different types has continued to clear the human population with no regard for age, gender, or even level of education. Coming up with different types of diseases, Cancer has killed so many people, including a large number of citizens of America. Presently, it has become the leading cause of concern and alarm in many homes and health care facilities.  As such, the government has engaged scientists in continuous research to acquire the right medication that can be used to save the lives of the people affected by the illness. Ideally, looking at the various ways of funding the research carried out to find the cure for the diseases is essential in that it is a course of alarm for every individual currently living.

According to the research that has been presented, Cancer is a genetic infection whose cause is noticed by the changes in the gene, interfering with the normal functioning of the cells. The cancer infection impacts on the cells, in terms of the way they replicate and divide. From the research conducted, Cancer is commonly inherited, and if the gene of the parents had some of the symptoms in the cells. As much as the investigation in the cancer cells has not been completed, research has it that the cancer cells tend to mutate and form different features every time. This has made it difficult to come to the right cure that can effectively clear Cancer from the human body. Some of the proposed solutions towards the treatment of Cancer include the administration of oral chemotherapy drugs. These drugs have proven to work only towards killing the cancer cells that are within the surface and can be used on people who have just discovered that they have contracted the illness.  However, the drugs are expensive, and many people cannot afford the expenses that come with this form of treatment. NCBI points out that “These drugs, which can cost $10,000 per month, can be dispensed in 2-week supplies”. Since the cost is too high for the standard individual, the medication has proven to be ineffective in some cases. Also, it is only useful to the people who are in stage 1, and these people are also not guaranteed to survive the illness.

The most effective proposal towards working away to killing the cancer illness is to invest more in the development and research of cancer medications. Increased funding will enable scientists to study the cancer cells and come up with the right medication as well as dosage. Furthermore, the incorporation of artificial intelligence in the process is likely to yield accurate results in terms of the illness and the possible solutions to getting rid of it. Funding a scientific research center is essential in that it creates the best opportunity for the scientist to gain access to whatever equipment they might need to aid in their research. Furthermore, proper funding enhances ease in the movement to specific latitudes to test the temperature of their medication and help understand the effectiveness of the medicines under different temperatures.

The rationale for funding the cancer researcher intends to access the vaccines that come with research. Before the cancer era, research has been conducted on the various epidemics and managed to design a vaccine that has prevented the recurrence of such illness. For instance, research on cancer medication has been making progress, and presently, the study has discovered the vaccine for cervical Cancer, which is currently being administered all over the globe. Research also promotes the discovery of the medication and creates an assurance of hope to the citizens of the prior successful research that has been conducted in the country. Conducting research and funding promotes the robust growth of innovation, giving the nation the chance to save its citizens and at the same time, make profits from selling the medication to other countries.  Proposing for the further funding of the research is the most appropriate step that the government should take in solving the cancer epidemic that continues to kill people right and left. In comparison to the previously propose cures such as the administration of chemotherapy, this is the most effective means of treatment that should be adopted. This is because the chemo has proven to work, but only on a specific number of individuals who have just contracted the infection. The fact that it is not a solution that adequately solves the problem is an indication that with more research, the scientist is likely to stumble on the ultimate cure for the disease.

There have risen different arguments regarding the idea of funding. Some people have taken the role of using this funding as a political stance, where they argue that it is a way of misappropriating government funds. Some rumor that the government of the United States has already found the cure for Cancer, but it is working time as it awaits the funding before releasing the medicine. However, the truth of the matter is not precisely known, and nothing concerning the illness has been published or discussed yet. The proposal presented above if feasible, and it can be a measure to show the impact of funding on the betterment of the project. The project, in this case, is the aspect of researching the most effective medication to administer to a cancer patient and get the person healthy once more. What types of equipment will they need, and how effective will these equipment cost?

The process of implementing this proposal requires approval from the government that funding the cancer project can prove to effective in establishing a cure. Since Cancer is an illness that affects everyone living on the surface of the earth, it is essential that everyone contributed towards the financing of cancer research. Through funding, the scientist gets the chance to access the specific materials to use in conducting their research process, and this helps them achieve better results. Training the public and talking to them about the threat that the illness poses may come a long way in encouraging them to continue supporting and funding cancer research.

All in all, the idea proposed about funding cancer research to find a cure for the chronic illness that has proven to kill millions of human beings all over the globe. Various benefits may come with the idea of funding the research. The ultimate solution can only be got into supporting the research project and giving them ample time to find the cure.
