The Muddiest Point
The muddiest point in the lecture video was differentiating the two terms, mitosis and meiosis. All my life, I have thought that miosis is the singular form of mitosis. I had never bothered looking that word up since I was too sure of my thoughts. The video explained a little about the difference between mitosis and meiosis. Still, I could not capture the difference between the two words appropriately. Therefore, I had to do my research for proper understanding.
It is a little bit hard to comprehend what the lady in the video is saying, considering how fast she talks. I had to rewind the video multiple times to capture what she was trying to say. Due to this, I had to look for reading materials, which is better since I was able to read at my own pace.

I had watched the lecture video as well and never understood the word “taxonomy” to my satisfaction. I agree with you that the video is detailed, but I had to seek more information from other sources as well to understand the word “taxonomy” appropriately. The separate research I did on taxonomy helped me to understand more on taxonomy.
I agree with you that the other videos were easily understood, but these new ones are hard to understand. The new lecture videos are difficult to understand. In these new videos, it is hard to understand the discussed topic if separate research is not conducted.

I agree with you that the muddiest point in week 17 is the lecture on “Preserving biodiversity.” The terms “vulnerable species” and “endangered species” were hard to distinguish at first, but after some research from other sources, I also got wind of the difference between the two terms. I agree with you that from other sources, “endangered species” is defined clearly.
I also found out it hard to concentrate on the video lecture because of the many instances used and definitions all over. I had to pause the video most of the time to take notes and research a little for a better understanding of week 14 on “Preserving biodiversity.”
