Abstract

Cloud computing has positively impacted businesses. However, from the last century, cloud computing is helping the IT industry to flourish more and to open a new gateway of job opportunities for candidates who wants to work in this sector. As now organizations want to stay more focused because of global competition, the cloud computation helps them to remain on their intact visions and developers of these services also try to bring innovations in this domain more securely. Not only this cloud computing allows organizations to take a start from a small step and then to gradually make the rise in the market whenever required because of its flexibility.

Introduction

The concept of cloud computing is not new, and its origins are from the extensive distribution of computing technology. Cloud computing was a rapid revolution if the field of computer science and information technology. The technique very effectively represents the shifting trend from hardware to software, software to services and the system if distributed networks to centralized networks. Cloud computing uses virtualization as the new model of business computing and helps businesses to browse whatever they want (Truong, 2010). The technology is being widely used, and there are no signs of cloud computing slowing down. The primary purpose of cloud computing is to reduce the burden of processing on the end-users. Computers, smartphones, tablets and PDAs all use different types of cloud computing programs which continuously communicate over the internet. The main advantage of cloud computing is cost reduction, easy availability and extensive scalability. There are potential risks related to data security and privacy risks that make people have reservations about the shift to cloud computing. Cloud computing plays an essential role in the business enhancement and employment, which will be discussed in detail in the paper, along with the rise of employment opportunities in this sector.

In the world of globalization, organizations are trying to grow stronger and trying to spread their networks everywhere so they can get benefit from it as the cloud is now in trend (Qian, Luo, Du, & Guo, 2009). Likewise, candidates who are seeking the opportunity to work in prestigious organizations are also making an effort to provide services of cloud computing to get and attain great employment opportunities. In such consequences, cloud computing is a service on which organizations and candidate seeking employment opportunities may rely on it. Cloud computing benefits are beyond imagination; it helps an organization to stay focused so reliable applications can be developed for the betterment of its users. Also that without any human interactions to make their business more focused so people seeking employment opportunities can be attracted and apply in an organization.

Broad Network Access: Cloud computing offers access to resources from anywhere, anytime with the help of any device that has accessibility to the web. So businesses and other people may get benefit from it.

Resource Pooling: The resources for a service provider are designed to provide services to the customer. The resources may be spread to a wide area are polled together by the service providers. These resources are shared by several customers.

Rapid Elasticity: Resources for computing are somehow made available for customers; they can also request and release resources when they are not required anymore, and customers only are liable to pay for whatever resource they use.

So, the above mentioned are few of the characteristics of cloud computing given by Devsena (2014) which may be advantageous for businesses and people seeking employment. Along with the given attributes, there are several benefits associated with cloud computing which organizations and people seeking employment opportunities may use to get benefits to fullest. The utmost benefit is of cloud computing is that it saves costs. The user is only charged for what resources are used by the consumer. No extra charges such as infrastructure are charged, and an only very minimum amount of maintenance cost has to be paid by users. Likewise, another benefit of cloud computing is flexibility. It helps organizations to adjust their resources according to the need of time. This way, the businesses and people seeking employment opportunities can look into a higher perspective, and their problems might get an effective solution with just one click. However, the cloud computing also allows promises security to its users which is also in favour of users because their information is secured (Srivastava & Khan, 2018).

The cloud computation is not only limited to above-mentioned benefits either. There are four models of cloud computing which helps organizations and users to choose the type of cloud on their own, so better assistance could be made (Prasad, Naik, & V.Bapuji, 2013).

• Public Cloud:

This cloud is available for large organizations or to the general public. These cloud services are mostly sold on demand and consumer only pay for what they have consumed. A good example of this cloud is Google App.

• Private Clouds:

These clouds have the same advantages which public clouds retain, but it exclusively provides service to a particular organization and is great for large organizations.

• Hybrid Clouds:

These clouds have properties of both clouds, and people seeking employment opportunities may avail the services of hybrid clouds to find a job. Where they can see information critical, and non-critical so they can make decisions based on data and businesses may also get a talented pool of candidates by the information provided.

• Community Clouds:

A community cloud is shared cloud where organizations shares their information and these organization shares the same kind of privacy etc.

Now let us see how many organizations and professionals are using cloud computing trends and availing opportunity to get benefits from this technology. The method which would be used to gather information will be based on the work done by other researches to see the significance of cloud computing.

A survey about companies using cloud computing trends was completed by Right Scale. Upon compiling data, it was concluded that 500 professionals among 1000 were representing small to medium-sized organizations and72% of the total sample were using private cloud computing trends. 89% were using public cloud computing trends, 67% hybrid, and 95% professional used any cloud available for them. However, the private and hybrid cloud usage are shown declined in 2017, whereas they were seen aroused in 2016. So, it is very obvious that organizations are now need of cloud developers which will help their organizations to store data, and to grow more significantly.

So, from above results, it can be seen that whatever cloud a candidate chooses for an employment opportunity, or whatever cloud organization choose will not significantly impact the process as a whole but will help users to progress and stand out in a competitive market.

However, it is also been observed that the organizations using IT cloud services has generated an income above $400 billion throughout the world, and not only this it has also helped to create new employment opportunities for candidates working in this field which are reported to be around 1.5 million (Jindal & Mishra, 2013).

So, organizations may take advantage from cloud computing in numerous ways, they may use whatever resources they require on-demand 24/7, and also help them to operate on immediate basis rather than to wait for operations to get started and can provide opportunities for candidates seeking employment by launching their new venture with minimum cost so they can pay back to economy in much better and effective way (Truong, 2010).

On a closing note, it can be seen that how many organizations are using cloud computing trends for the betterment of their companies and how professionals require them to meet the demand of the competitive market. Likewise, organizations now need more talented engineers to work on cloud computing services which make it more user-friendly and helps users and businesses to run more effectively and efficiently. However, the world is now trying to make use of clouds to fullest because of its less cost and maximum usage of resources which are then effectively used by organizations from small scale to medium and then to a more massive size. The resources available on clouds are reliable and reduces the chances of getting failed in the desired field. Furthermore, cloud computing is environment-friendly as it only requires the space for servers. Also, it is opening new gateways for employment opportunities for IT workers in all fields, which may help organizations to flourish more with the help of their services.
