Abortion exists in two forms such as in purposeful abortion or induced and spontaneous abortion also known as a miscarriage. Induced abortion is very common and is perceived as safe if induced through medical procedures. In the U.S, most abortions are done through medical procedures and several women have ascertained to have undergone such procedures. hence, there exist various instances in which abortion is initiated thus based on the main agenda in which the process has to be conducted.

Thus, this will reduce the dangers associated with abortion procedures and promote wellness among couples.
Abortion also entails social and moral norms that might affect the individual who engages in such activity within the society. For instance, abortion is associated with morality and religion does not support abortion. Religion holds that having an abortion is like killing an infant and thus does not support followers to abort their unborn fetus.
