Film making
Film production is basically the art of making a film and involves several stages including finding a story through shooting or screenwriting , sound recording of the film and reproduction , editing and finally presenting it to the audience; this is also called film release. All these has been a dream I had since childhood. I have been able to develop a passion for simple video recording and editing as a child. I produced quality videos by recording events at around my home and edited it using my laptop; I would then burn them into Compact disks for later use. Even though I never produced for selling, I always had them done to improve my video production and editing skills. This passion developed over time that I vowed to take up film making in college when I came of age.
A child’s talent normally grows well when it is natured by people around them. I received a lot of support from my parents and siblings; they invested in buying me the equipment I needed for my work. I had a camera with better focus that produced quality videos. With time, technology developed quickly; a lot of media platforms were created that opened doors for young film makers to show their talents. I was able to produce and edit clips that I later uploaded in YouTube and other social media platforms. This greatly aided in the growth of my skills, I was able to cover stories and short plays by local people around my home. I have worked on developing this talent and I believe that I will get to film making industry when the time comes.
