As the saying goes, “The leadership secret is simple: what you believe do, coat a picture for the future, and going there, you will have followers.” As a trailblazer understanding who you are, having a clear vision of what you want and following it to completion is a step which can cause many people to follow you. Having the confidence and capability I believe I am the right candidate for change in Texas State Senate. I am intending to run for the Texas State-Senate for my district 16, with the current Republican Senator Don Huffiness in sitting.

After the check on the quiz results according to the political party I will be in the liberal democrats, but on the quiz on ideology, I will be in the opportunity Democrats. I choose the democratic party because I lean on democracy and I believe if people are served well in the democratic way it is a great way enhancing peace and growth of economy (Rogers, 44) The Liberal Democrats I am a liberal patriot who believes matters of education, immigration, and governance (Taylor,16)
According to the district analysis and the quiz results, my three platforms for running the office will include education, security and job creation for the state’s development. A key to my platforms will be education since education is the key to life. Without education, a nation is bound to collapse. I will ensure all people get the right education to the tertiary level. To the matters of security when a country is attacked by enemies or there is always war development and growth are hindered.
Texas Democrats as well as Republican Party of Texas when it comes to the matter of education, security and job creation my ideas align. Texas Democrats and Republican Party of Texas both believe that for the future to be great education should be a key factor which should be for both the present and the future. Job creation is another factor that I have common with Democrats as well as Republicans, there a lot people wandering around without jobs if they get an opportunity to work the economy of the state grows. There some areas where my ideas do not align with Republicans were as they align with Democrats. Republicans believe that only the residents should be given the first priority to work in their nation while the immigrants should occupy the lesser positions. I disagree with the Republicans in that if a person qualifies a certain position an opportunity to serve should be granted despite their status.
