Yes, individuals are responsible for their own ethical or unethical behaviour. Behavioral ethics depends on the cognitive attitude of the individuals of whether they act according to the organizational code of conduct or not.
Other people or bosses influence my ethical behaviour to establish a dignified standard in the organization. Organizational integrity depends on the moral outlook of each of its members. Thus, the influence me to perform ethical behaviour to establish corporate integrity with a dignified perspective to retain brand loyalty.
Attributions to strength people’s confidence in their ethical beliefs are as follows:
- The employees should be informed strictly about the organizational code of ethics as soon as they join the office. They should be convinced about all the ethical practices to strengthen moral belief
- Annual ethics and diversity training should be provided to all the employees to make them updated about the latest ethical standard of the company
- An ethics reporting system should be established to authenticate ethical goals
Attributions to overcome unethical practices by bad management are as follows:
- Employees should be led by using visionary leadership strategy
- Consequences of unethical behaviour should be reinforced
- Employees should be appreciated for their performance achievement
