Low sexual desire

Low sexual desire is the most common condition when it comes to young females. While libido diminishes with age when you are young, it becomes a source of frustration. Sexual drive in women is complicated. It becomes sexual dysfunction when the woman (or their partner) becomes excessively obsessed with her lack of interest. In young women, biological and psychological factors may be the cause.

First, birth control pills or antidepressants may be causing your diminishing desire. The Pill may regulate your hormones that contribute to your sexual wellbeing. About 10 million women use these pills in the US. And a study by Contraceptive Technology said only about 5% experience negative sexual desire from pills. At a glance, the percentage seems small, but those are at least 500,000 in just one nation.

Anxiety and self-image issues are also known contributors. We live in an age where we are bombarded by photos of other ‘beautiful’ women wherever we go. It is normal to feel inadequate as a young person who doesn’t meet this or that (Few can meet every beauty demand). But it may eat your confidence and your bedroom game. Breakups or lack of attention from partners may facilitate anxiety further and cause low libido in future encounters.

A trip to the doctor can help you pinpoint the causes. They may be physiological resulting from diseases like thyroid disorders, liver diseases, diabetes, coronary artery disorder, high blood pressure, or neurological disorders. Presently, these disorders are affecting more youth, and they affect women’s desires.

Hormonal frequencies from childbirth, breastfeeding, or pregnancies are typical. Childbirth can be demanding with all the physical contact and care that a baby needs. Stress and tiredness and the need to avoid additional physical touch may affect your libido. But these changes are usually reversible when given time to heal.

Long-term relationships with repetitive routine, unresolved arguments, lack oflow sexualor trust, power struggles, different sexual levels, or interest dampen your mood with time.

Remember, for the most part, most causes of low libido have some remedy.
