RDBMSes hence is a subset of DBMSes.
What is Key-Value Pair Databases?
It is a type of nonrelational database that’s using simple key-value methods to keep data. It stores data as a collection of key-value pairs whereby the key acts as a distinctive identifier. In this type of database, anything can serve as the key and the values ranging to complex compound objects from simple objects. The majority prefers the key-value database as it allows horizontal scaling at scales, which cannot be achieved by other types of databases.
