During his internship as a clinical pharmacist, I was his instructor and assigned him the tasks and monitored his progress. Pankaj was active in asking questions and seeking solutions to problems, and if he encountered problems or made an error, he dared to admit the mistake, take responsibility, and immediately seek to rectify the situation. Throughout his time in this position, Pankaj consistently strove for excellence.
I was particularly impressed by his strong communication skills while recording patient history. Part of his internship mainly involved the preparation-sterilization, storage, filling, and labeling of contrast media used in imaging. He showed very strong technical as well as management abilities, and he was very orderly, with the ability to learn quickly. If anything, Pankaj was at times too eager to complete tasks successfully and quickly, which ultimately serves as proof of his dedicated ambition to succeed and excel in graduate school.
Based on my first-hand observation of his performance over the six months, I believe that Pankaj is fully capable of pursuing a master’s degree in your university and will perform excellently. He has a cheerful and positive personality that makes him a joy to work with.
