Raspail has a rather opportunistic attitude towards the issue of population and he is of the opinion that the population has a way of collecting and balancing itself through struggle.  He indicates his position on the truism of population and its future using his fictional novel The Camp of the Saints. In the novel, he describes his vision on world population as a world of two camps, the North and the South which are distinguished based on their livelihood and the struggle between the two camps. The South if made of poor people while the North is made of stable people. His truism nature shows that the poor population will have to die and the rich will have to fight to avoid been overwhelmed by the large population of the poor people. He shows negative towards liberalistic politics which support immigration and insists that immigration is a source of demise for the Europe countries and no matter how they might not accept it, it is the truth.

Paul Kennedy has a straight approach to the issue of population and he asserts that there is the need to control the level of population growth. He insists that the only way to achieve this is introduce cheap and reliable forms of birth control approaches that will be affordable to all the people. However, Connolly has a different opinion on the issue of population and he has the opinion that family planning programs haven’t made any difference in population growth.

Demographic issues feed influence racism and nationalism in that they intensify racism on the perception of inferiority or control. Those races that are less populous feel pressed and they tend to become more racist and resistance. This notion is related also to nationalism where countries have shown to tighten their immigration rules due to the rapid rate of immigration and population growth.

Raspial view the Indians on the boat as a swarm to indicate the possible future problems that are likely to be developed by the high rate of population growth rate. The global population will become uncontrollable and immigration will become a problem to many nations. Raspail view French as a liberalistic country that is gradually changing its view and policies on immigration and they have started seeing the problem that are created by immigration.  The country had initially allowed immigrant but the politician soon realize the actual problem created by the concept. He says ‘…French politicians paralyzed by their impending fate, the people of the third world’. The consequences of writing in the two different way is to offer insight on the possible problems that will be created by the problem of population growth which is alarming. Raspail wants to warn the world use occurrence in the 20th and illustrate the need to review the problem of population growth and global inequality.  John Donne quote is used quote is used to show the relevance and importance of human beings and the central role  they play in the social cohesion and progress of the world. It is a relevant metaphor on the discussion of migration as it helps in informing on the need to review all the aspects of migration to introduce a balance in the world which is the best way out in dealing with the issue of immigration which has been controversial for a long time.
