In 2013 I earned my bachelor’s degree in architecture. My undergraduate program was a journey of discoveries and explorations. This was a time where I was given the free play of my creative mind, which I applied to create buildings. This improved my practical design skills through dozens of refined and sensitive works. The thing I realized from my undergraduate course of architecture was that an Architect has to fly high yet has to have his feet on the ground. Hence, I believe that the person who has the right blend of these two would be an apt Architect, and this propelled me towards practicing. I worked on to make my designs an amalgamation of the cost-effective, sustainable, and functional approach.

After completing my undergraduate study, I moved to the capital city of India, New Delhi. I joined ADP architecture, where I worked as an architect for six years. While developing my practical skills. I have honed my aesthetic sensibility, a perception of the world around us, and an understanding of human needs. I also formed a characteristic in my designs, tempered by meticulous attention to even the minutest details. I loved the whole process of developing a design from a sketch on a paper to analyzing and using technology to build things up at a place where nothing was there before. In a few years, I earned the responsibility to design and deliver a quality-based project both efficiently and on time. Coordinating these aspects opened my mind to a great extent as I was constantly collaborating with various aspects of specialist organizations throughout the whole life cycle of a project. I understood how greatly a specific scheme is influenced by client requirements and expectations, regulatory bodies, the development of new technological practice, socio-economic trends, and demand for sustainable advancements. This enabled me to understand the significance of management in the construction industry and will play a vital role in how our ecosystem will exist in the future.

Therefore, to take my career a step further, I have decided to pursue my master’s in Construction Project Management. The knowledge I will gain through this course will help me in completing contracts on time and budget. Also, the degree will open new job opportunities in various good companies for me.

It is my intense desire to study my masters in the UK as the United Kingdom is one of the most popular destinations for students and employers from all over the world. Moreover, the multicultural environment of the UK will surely upgrade my personality traits and will allow me to broaden my thinking.
